If we throw back to 2004, Ryan Gosling starred in ‘The Notebook’, the swoon-worthy romantic drama based on the 1996 Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name. The film shows in the 1940s American South and focuses on the romance and its hardships between lumber mill worker named Noah, played by Rian Gosling, and wealthy heiress named Allie, played by McAdams. The couple were actually drawn to one another but they belong to different worlds which threatens to tear their burgeoning relationship apart.

However, in this movie, Ryan Gosling did not get along with his co-star Rachel McAdams, but the epic love story will break your heart and then build it back up again. So, get your tissues ready before watching this one. You can stream it on Amazon VOD.

Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams were absolutely fantastic as two very dysfunctional people trying to make their relationship work and was emotionally devastating. You can stream it on Max.
