BTS' Jungkook World Cup Performance Inspired Qatar's First K-pop Festival

A major factor influencing the decision to hold Qatar's first K-pop festival was BTS Jungkook's opening ceremony performance during the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Jungkook considered a talented, adaptable idol, released Dreamers as part of the official World Cup soundtrack, and fans and critics alike were pleased with the film. In addition to his song Dreamers, Jungkook gave an impressive performance at the opening ceremony. It will be the first-ever K-pop festival in Qatar, scheduled to take place from May 19 to 20 at Lusail Multipurpose Stadium, organized by two of the top companies in the entertainment industry, HANARO Events and EMFFL Entertainment. In addition to the performances, there will be various activities and programs for fans. During the festival, the fans will meet in photo booths, eat food, shop for merchandise, and play games.
