BTS' Jungkook World Cup Performance Inspired Qatar's First K-pop Festival

 A major factor influencing the decision to hold Qatar's first K-pop festival was BTS Jungkook's opening ceremony performance during the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Jungkook considered a talented, adaptable idol, released Dreamers as part of the official World Cup soundtrack, and fans and critics alike were pleased with the film. In addition to his song Dreamers, Jungkook gave an impressive performance at the opening ceremony. Based on Jungkook's performance at the World Cup in Qatar, we decided to hold a K.One Festa in Qatar 2023, the organizers stated in the press release.

It will be the first-ever K-pop festival in Qatar, scheduled to take place from May 19 to 20 at Lusail Multipurpose Stadium, organized by two of the top companies in the entertainment industry, HANARO Events and EMFFL Entertainment. As a result of Jungkook's performance in Qatar and the Middle East, K-POP and K-Culture were viewed as more popular and popular. To honor K-Pop and K-Culture as a source of comfort, dreams, courage, and hope for individuals experiencing difficult times, they wished to follow in his footsteps and organize an event in his honor.

Aside from raising money and awareness for those affected by the Syrian and Turkish earthquakes, the group hoped to use this opportunity. ATEEZ, iKON, Sunmi, BamBam, Oh My Girl, SF9, Everglow, P1 Harmony, Cykers, and Dripin all represent different K-POP genres. In addition to the performances, there will be various activities and programs for fans. During the festival, the fans will meet in photo booths, eat food, shop for merchandise, and play games.
