The couple's love story dates back to their teenage days in Texas! The couple became friends while in high school, according to Sports Illustrated. The Jesuit College Preparatory School was the home of Jordan, while Ursuline Academy was the home of Annie.

After graduating from Texas Tech University's Rawls College with a business degree, he played golf at the University of Texas at Austin. On the Golf Digest Twitter account, a picture of the happy couple was posted, in which Annie proudly displayed a massive diamond ring on her left hand. 

As we reported, the tweet read, "Congratulations, Jordan Spieth and Annie Verret." No further information was provided, but it's pretty obvious! The pro athlete proposed on Christmas Eve - what a great way to celebrate.

"Sammy Spieth born 11/14," the athlete wrote alongside the picture. At this time, Annie's Instagram account is listed as private. "Mama and baby doing great! Feeling blessed!"
