'The Witcher': Season 3 Might Hold Surprises - Will the Show Face Cancellation?'

The Witcher was just released on the 27th of July 2023, and it is said that that season was the last one that featured Henry Cliff as the lead role who is the “Geralt of Rivia”. 

In the third season, Henry is going to be replaced with another actor who is Liam Hemsworth, bu according to the reports it not going to happen after certain instances that happened in last events. According to the reports, the show is not going to move further and they have already received the fourth installment but still it is not confirmed that the show will continue doing production or not.

Some points have been reported in a publication who had some information from Redanian Intelligence in which they stated that the fourth season was ready to be aired in the coming month of september but unfortunately strikes from the writers and actors in Hollywood can be a reason of the show getting delayed or cancelled.

But still there can be more reasons that has not been out yet but according higher sources that can make the third season of The Witcher to be the very last season without any more season coming in years.

If the want to resume shooting, it will not be possible until the year 2o24 arrives and the date is still not confirmed yet. There are some who are saying that it is not possible that the shooting is going to happen soon.

There are more reasons that may be possible that because of these, Netflix is not going to cancel the show. These include, the cost of the season “The Witcher” is very high and not affordable, in which the most costly is the actor Henry, who had a salary of amount 400,000 but it got increased to approximately one million dollar which is for per episode of the season.

Including this reason, the show has not got good enough ratings that can make the producers continue the series after the second season. Another reason is the leaving of Henry from the show has got some bad reactions from the fans as they want to watch Califf in the upcoming season too. So it might be possible that the show will be boycott by the fans due to the absence of previous character in the season and ofcourse the streaming platform Netflix is afraid of that.

If this happens when the 3rd season is aired then it is not possible that the 4th season will be aired or not. After getting remarks and reviews from the rating of the show in september then the team will decide if the fourth season will come out. If they decide to stream it then the shooting for the next season is not going to happen in 2024 because they have stopped, so the shooting most probably will start in the year 2025.
