As a child, Brooke Shields was always in front of cameras. She had done commercials, movies, and sitcoms before she could even walk. In her new documentary, Pretty Baby, she's in complete control of the story she tells to the camera - and she doesn't hold back when it comes to sharing it.

With its raw and honest look at Brooke's life, Lana Wilson's documentary explores everything from getting raped and becoming an actress to becoming the "most famous virgin in the world." In 1978, Brooke appeared as a child prostitute in Pretty Baby, where she played at the age of 11 a child prostitute.

In 1980, she filmed naked scenes in The Blue Lagoon at 14. However, she would not have real sex for many years. During part two of the documentary, Brooke talks openly about how Dean Cain, the iconic Superman on the hit ABC show Lois & Clark, saved her virginity.

Their paths crossed while attending Princeton University. Brooke has shared photos of her with Dean on her Instagram, and in the film, she introduces Dean as the person she considers a "special" person in her life in archival footage.

The truth about what happened is revealed

Although Brooke has previously discussed her relationship with Dean, in the documentary, she reveals more about what happened the first night they slept together and how their relationship could've changed had things gone differently.

The learning curve should have been fun, but Brooke explains that the moment almost didn't happen because she had built up so much for it. As the first person, I trusted he was the first one I trusted. I didn't celebrate our attraction or revel in our sexual relationship... It is so unnaturally high that I am amazed we even made it through any of it."

Able to understand her feelings instantly

Nevertheless, Brooke remembers being so uncomfortable that night that she ran down the hall naked after the two had finished sleeping together. When he understood her feelings instantly, she did not, and she felt bad for the girl. She was an adult who owned her body. But at that moment, I couldn't get there. Regret for lost opportunities for exploration and understanding my sexuality is what it boils down to."

She revealed "a few years back" that she apologized to her "loyal and loving" first lie for not making their time together more enjoyable. 'I'm sorry for you, and I'm sorry for me,' Brooke said. After three years, we got back together after having a great relationship, but we broke up again. Those were the days when I should have reveled in love and felt proud and free."
