It's time to remember excruciating celebrity deaths in 2022!

Some hugely loved stars said goodbye in 2022. It can be heartbreaking for fans, but remembering their work, achievements and legacies can provide comfort that inspires us to change the world. Here look at some of the famous people who died in 2022.
In the month of December
John Bird!
John Bird died on Christmas Eve at the age of 86. He is known for his work with John Fortune and Rory Bremner in the TV series Bremner, Fortune, and Bird, performing with sketches and public figures. His death was almost nine years to the day.

Maxi Jazz!
Maxwell Fraser is known by his stage name Maxi Jazz. He died at the age of 65 on December 23. Maxi was one of the founding members of Faithless. The band was formed in 1995 and is known for trance hits, including God Is D J, Insomnia, and We Come 1.
George Cohen!
George Cohen sadly died at the age of 83. He lifted the world cup with England in 1966. He spent his entire career playing with Fulham, racing up 459 appearances between 1956 and 1969 and scoring six league goals. His most successful career started in 1966 when he started against West Germany in the World Cup final at Wembley Stadium.

Sonya Eddy!
Sonya, a General Hospital actress, died at 55 on December 19. She appears in 543 episodes of General Hospital in her role as Epiphany Johnson. Her close friend Octavia Spencer announced, praising the 'creative angel.'

Stéphanie Bissonnette!
Stephanie Bissonnette, the musical star, died at the age of 32. She is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer. Also, she played the role of Dawn Schweitzer in the hit Broadway show. Her cause of death is not confirmed. In 2019, she was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor.
Shirley Watts!
Shirley Watts, the wife of Rolling Stones star Charlie Watts, died at 82. The couple shared three children on December 19. She died peacefully on Friday, December 16, in Devon after a short illness, surrounded by her family.

Stephen ‘tWitch'Boss died at the age of 40 on December 13. In 2014, Stephen started DJing on Ellen's show and remained with it until it ended earlier this year. Stephen stepped into the spotlight in 2008; he vowed with his dance skills on So You Think You Can Dance.

Christine died at the age of 79 on November 30. The singer-songwriter is responsible for huge hits such as Songbird, Don't Stop, and Little Lies. She died in hospital after a short illness. In 1967, the British-American rock band sold more than 100 million records worldwide, the most successful group ever.
Keith Levene!
Keith Levene died at the age of November 11 from liver cancer. He is known for performing with The Clash and Public Image Ltd. He was one of the most innovative and influential guitarists.

Leslie Phillips!
Leslie Phillips died on November 7 at 98 after battling an illness. He is a legendary actor who was 90 at the time of his strokes which were only six months apart. His most famous role was in Carry On, and he starred in dozens of films, including Harry Potter. He made his last appearance decades later, and he appeared as the much-loved voice of the sorting hat in Harry Potter.

Coolio!
Coolio is a rapper who died at 59 on September 28. The musician, best known for his 90's hit Gangsta's Paradise, died from a suspected cardiac arrest. His real name is Artis Leon Ivey Jr. In the late 1980s, the rapper burst onto the music stage in LA; his '90s hit Gangsta's Paradise made him an international star.
The Queen!
Queen Elizabeth II died at 96 on September 8, surrounded by her family. On her Platinum Jubilee, after 80 years of dedicated service to the Throne, the longest-serving monarch passed away at her beloved Scottish estate, Balmoral.

Bill Turnbull!
Bill Turnbull died at age 66 on August 31, after a challenging five-year fight with prostate cancer. He appeared on BBC Breakfast from 2001 until 2016, was diagnosed in 2017, and went public with his battle the following year.
Mikhail Gorbachev!
Mikhail Gorbachev died at the age of 91 on August 30. He is known for ending the Cold war without bloodshed and failing to prevent the collapse of the Soviet Union. In June, he was taken to the hospital suffering from a serious kidney ailment.
