Celebrities are people who their fans look up to and most of them even desire to have bodies, angular cheekbones, dimples, double eyelids, etc same as their favorite celebrities. The popular actors/actresses act like a source of inspiration for their audience. But there are also times when they themselves get insecure about their body and other features.
These days celebrities and plastic surgeries go hand in hand. Moreover, it has become like a trend among the celebrities in the movie world. Maybe a nip here and a tuck there or sometimes something on the lines of extreme plastic surgery, but famous people are changing the way they look more comfortable now than before. Some are even talking openly about it while some leave us to speculate.
No matter how subtle the changes are, celebrities before and after plastic surgery look different and they are always eagle eyed by their fans. So let’s find out who are the favorite celebrities who went to the plastic surgeon for modifications.
1. The Kylie Cosmetics owner- Kylie Jenner
The Kardashian-Jenners are known for controversies or rather are called as controversy queens and that is obviously because of the actions they do or the statements they make. The clan is known for treating their plastic surgeon as a family doctor as they keep getting modifications done from time to time on their bodies.
It's not an unknown fact to many about Kylie Jenner and her drastic transformation as her plastic surgery has always been in the news. From her face to her body, everything looks completely different. She has only admitted to getting fillers in her face and has denied going under surgery for other rumored procedures.
However, if you look at her before and after pictures from some years ago, you will see her very proportional hourglass figure which just cannot be attributed to a simple weight gain and she looks very very different today to what she looked some years ago ehich definitely brings us to the fact that she gone under the knife for multiple modifications. It is also speculated that apart from fillers she has undergone rhinoplasty, chin enhancement, breast augmentation, and Brazilian Butt Lift.
2. The all time favorite singer- Cardi B
Cardi B has been known in the music industry for her sassy raps and for her distinctive fashion sense. However, in 2021 she opened up about how she had developed insecurities about her lean body type during her upbringing in New York.
"In the Bronx, it’s about being thick and having an ass, so young boys would be like, 'Look at your flat ass. You ain’t got no titties.' And it would make me feel so ugly and undeveloped," Cardi said.Once she had enough money saved from working as a stripper, Cardi had work done on her body and says she's felt more self-assured since.
"I feel so vindicated. Even when I was 18 and became a dancer, I had enough money to afford to buy boobs, so every insecurity that I felt about my breasts was gone," she said. "When I was 20, I went to the urban strip club, and in the urban strip clubs, you had to have a big butt. So I felt insecure about that. It took me back to high school. So I got my ass done. And then I felt super confident."
3. Tyra Banks
Tyra Banks who is famous for her roles and dancing numbers in 2018 had admitted that she had a nose job done when she was starting out in her modeling career. "I had bones in my nose that were growing and itching," she said. "I could breathe fine, but I had cosmetic surgery. I admit it! Fake hair, and I did my nose. I feel I have a responsibility to tell the truth."
She had also explained that she believes women should be able to do whatever they want with their bodies without others passing judgment, whether someone has had work done or not.
"Fix it or flaunt it — I think women should be able to do both," Banks said. "There is a boundary line, either you’re super natural or you live at the plastic surgeon. It’s okay to hop back and forth over that line. You want a hair weave? Fine. You want permanent eyebrows? Fine. We as women need to stop judging."
4. Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra the famous actress from Bollywood who made her mark in Hollywood as well has also openly admitted to getting plastic surgery done.
Prior to becoming a working actor, Chopra was once criticized for her looks by a director who met with her after she won the Miss World Pageant title in 2000. "Before I became an actress, I met a producer/director about, you know, the possibility of acting," Chopra said on an episode of The View. "He said everything was wrong about me. He said my nose was not proportionate, he said the shape of my body wasn't proportionate."
However, Chopra did not listen to the director’s sayings at that time but in her recently published memoir named Unfinished, she admitted that she to go through surgery on her nasal cavity to remove a polyp in the early 2000s, which resulted in her nasal bridge collapsing. She has since been through numerous corrective surgeries to fix this damage and wrote in the memoir, "This is my face. This is my body. I might be flawed, but I am me."
5. Katy Perry and her non invasive work
Famous singer Katy Perry had admitted in the past she has not had any plastic surgeries done rather has got lasers and filler injections done in her eyes for hollowing, which somehow comes under body modifications itself, so she kind of has tried to protect herself from the backlash.
In the interview, she had also added that she would recommend the injections to anyone who wants a solution for their dark circles. Perry went on to talk about her acceptance of anyone's decision to do what they want with their bodies. "We're getting away from that negative stigma about physical alterations," she said. "Of course, always be your authentic self — but if someone wants a nose job that makes them feel better, and they love their profile more because of it, it's like, Go ahead! Do whatever makes you feel better about yourself. Stay in therapy, but get it, girl."
6. JLO and her journey with plastic surgeries
Jeniffer Lopez is another celebrity who has evolved over the years. It is true that she looks different from her older pictures and has been the one to constantly deny getting plastic surgery. Some cosmetic surgeons, however, are of the view that Jeniffer has at least had a rhinoplasty. Her nose looks different than before. It is slimmer and more refined than it was not before. There have also been speculations about other facial procedures too. However, her face that refuses to age can also be a result of a good lifestyle and some non-surgical treatments.
7. Megan Fox
Megan Fox is a celebrity worth mentioning when it comes to plastic surgery talks. The Transformers actress has had an impeccable beauty evolution over the years. She has always been a beautiful looking woman. However, people started seeing changes in her appearance that could not be credited to good makeup and hair only. Her lips and cheeks seem to be altered which can be due to the use of fillers. Facial fillers provide a similar altering effect that a surgical facelift does and are better as there are no incisions or cuts made on the face.
8. The queen of models-Bella Hadid
Bella Hadid is definitely one of the most successful and one of the highest-paid models of today. She has appeared in many campaigns associated with famous brands and walked the ramp for well-known designers. But with fame comes some eye-hawkers and there have been speculations revolving around her different looks but she has remained adamant of the fact that she is completely natural. She has been constantly denying rumors of having had surgery or even fillers.
But the pictures of Bella Hadid before plastic surgery tell a different story. Some cosmetic surgeons hold a different view as well. It is largely believed that the famous model has had rhinoplasty and dermal fillers to alter her nose and jawline respectively.
Hence, denied or accepted these celebrities have gone through some huge changes in the past few years, and as long as they serve us with some good content what's the point of criticizing them.
