It's not the only upcoming movie about pizza-eating reptiles at Paramount Pictures, but judging from the first trailer. It's the one that gets people excited about seeing it. It's a new film by director Jeff Rowe. Featuring Splinter, a master rat martial artist, and his four adopted sons Donatello (Micah Abbey), Michelangelo (Shamon Brown Jr.), Leonardo (Nicolas Cantu), and Raphael (Brady Noon), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem tells a familiar but entirely new story about rat martial artists Splinter and his four adoptive sons. The turtles were transformed by sewer ooze to become humanoid turtles.

The clear view of the turtles

It's normal in Ninja Turtle stories for Mutant Mayhem's brothers to keep New York City safe by operating in the shadows while facing off with enemies like Bebop (Seth Rogen) and Rocksteady (John Cena). All the boys want to be accepted as normal kids like April O'Neil (Ayo Edebiri) after years of keeping their hero's work secret. As the turtles learn to use their skills for good, Mutant Mayhem's trailer makes it clear they'll focus on their early years.

It's the film's gorgeous sketch-like art direction and its gritty/grimy texture that set it apart from other recent Turtle films like Netflix's Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that stands out. As well as Hannibal Buress, Rose Byrne, Ice Cube, Natasia Demetriou, Giancarlo Esposito, Post Malone, Paul Rudd, and Maya Rudolph, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will also star Hannibal Buress, Rose Byrne, Ice Cube, Natasia Demetriou, Giancarlo Esposito, Post Malone, and Maya Rudolph.
