After her father was indicted, Ivanka Trump spoke out. After more than six years of allegedly paying hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels when he was the presidential candidate in 2016, a grand jury in Manhattan indicted Trump on Thursday, becoming the first sitting or former president in American history to face criminal charges.

Charges are expected to be filed soon

In her Instagram story on Friday, Ivanka, 41, said, "I love my father, and I love my country. Today, I am saddened for both." She expressed gratitude for the support of different political groups. In Manhattan, Trump's attorneys expect to have the charges against him made public when he appears for his arraignment on Tuesday.

Alvin Bragg, District Attorney, can ask for the charges to be unsealed at that point or wait until the case has its first hearing. In the financial records of the Trump Organisation, there is evidence that the $130,000 hush money payment is referred to as "legal expenses" by sources. Trump could face at least 30 charges based on these records.

Trump reportedly promised to build a wall

New York prohibits using cameras in most courtrooms, so Trump's first court appearance won't be televised nationally. In 2018, the Wall Street Journal reported that Trump promised Daniels $130,000 to keep quiet about their alleged sexual encounter a month before the 2016 election in exchange for her silence.

Trump initially denied having an affair with the porn star, but his longtime lawyer Michael Cohen later admitted the payment was made. A source said that Trump and Ivanka were no longer speaking before news of Trump's indictment broke.

Harmony exists between father and daughter

Although Ivanka loves her father, she knows he can be impossible - although someone close to the former first daughter claims that their father-daughter relationship is harmonious. She is focused on raising her children and building her Miami life.

In the first report, the source said that Ivanka focused on recreating her business life and raising her children. Politics had been a distraction for her for too long. Ivanka made it clear she would no longer be involved in her father's presidential campaign after he announced he was launching another one.

Setting up a family relationship

Having already announced his campaign for 2024, she stated that she is prioritizing her young children and the private life she is establishing with her family. My father has always been my lifeline, but it will not be through politics. I will always love and support him but will not participate in politics in the future."

It appears Ivanka is aware that she has no options regarding the legal issues facing her father, according to the source. Source: "Donald does what he wants, and she can't help him anymore. His lawyers and advisers are handling his needs now. She is no longer working on his behalf."
