An Update; In Response To Harassment Suit, Grammy Award-winning Singer And Songwriter Lizzo Is Going To Countersue The Back Up Dancers

Updated on August 24, 2023 17:12 PM by Sally Harbor

The lawsuit came after the three backup dancers of Lizzo filed a case of poor work conditions and harassment against her. Reportedly Lizzo plans to countersue her three backup dancers Crystal Williams, Arianna Davis, and Noelle Rodriguez. Lizzo's attorney called this case a 'sham' and revealed that the singer would countersue this malicious prosecution against her. Lizzo intends to pursue after the photos of the three backup dancers surfaced where the trio “happily carousing”  and “gleefully revealing” with topless cabaret performers backstage after the March 5, 2023 show, Lizzo’s attorney, Marty Singer, told TMZ. These photos are about the month after the group's trip to Amsterdam where the three dances claimed that the songwriter and singer Lizzo pressured her employees to eat bananas from live sex performers' vaginas.

The singer reveals that after a few weeks after the photos the dancers chose to return for the third leg of her tour. The 35-year-old singer, according to the lawsuit, “invited cast members to take turns touching the nude performers, catching dildos launched from the performers’ vaginas, and eating bananas protruding from the performers’ vaginas.”Earlier this month Neama Rahmani the three dancers' attorney told The Daily News, “She was there with the dildos and the bananas and the vaginas, She’s the one that asked everyone to go, and everyone felt pressure to go to get along with Lizzo.” The dancers claimed that they were also pressured to go on the Paris trip but the singer’s attorney says the photos of them contradict their story.

The pop singer Lizzo said the video " substantial evidence" in which David gushed over singer Lizzo, which was recorded after the Paris incident, will help "prove the glaring contradictions between what the plaintiff's claim in their bogus lawsuit and what is proven by the facts."The real name of Lizzo is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, who has strongly denied the accusation against her and called them "too outrageous to not be addressed."On August 3, she wrote on social media, "These sensationalized stories are coming from former employees who have already publicly admitted that they were told their behavior on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional, "The pop singer and songwriter writes, "The lawsuit is a sham. Lizzo intends to sue for malicious prosecution after she prevails and these specious claims are dismissed.

These irrefutable photos and videos, along with additional substantial evidence, prove the glaring contradictions between what the plaintiffs claim in their bogus lawsuit and what is proven by the facts, "Rahmani the three backstage dancers said her team has, "been hearing from other former employees sharing similar stories, and as seen in the Los Angeles Times article today about how Lizzp used intimate footage of her dancers without their approval in the 2022 HBO Max Love Lizzo documentary, we're seeing even more of a pattern of just how much Lizzo thinks of those who work for her. Not very much." But there is a statement of Lizzo's dancers showing support to her, the Big Grrrls & Boi Dancers wrote in a recent Instagram post, "THANK YOU to Lizzo for shattering limitations and kicking in the doorway for the Big Grrrl & Big Boi Dancers to do what we love!"
