He revealed that there was a time when he considered himself a ' misfit' for the industry. Before getting ripped for the Star-Lord, Pratt said that he had gone through a physical transformation to stay in the standards of Hollywood. Chris Pratt, 44 years old, says, Many years went by when I was trying to find my footing in Hollywood and find out what kind of an actor I was.

He added, I had ambitions to play lead roles, to be an adventurer and a hero. But it felt like I wasn't ever given those opportunities. And when I started to get those opportunities, I would blow them

The actor playing superhero Star-Lord says, ‘I would not get callbacks, nor would I get auditions. And oftentimes, as a performer in Hollywood, I was trying to define myself by how the industry sees me, rather than what I’m trying to prove myself to the industry.’ As an actor he allowed and accepted the rejection that came his way he says,  There was a time when I thought maybe I was going to be more of a sidekick funny character, which would have been perfectly fine by me.

The 35 years Chris Pratt has gained fame through TV shows most notably on Parks and Recreation, he has led lead movies of this size before, James Gunn the director of Guardians admitted on SiriusXM, that his reaction when the idea of Pratt was first floated was, The chubby guy from Parks and Rec?! He is an American actor, Christopher Michael Pratt, he was born on 21st June 1979 in Virginia, United States. He was homeless, Working in different jobs and he didn't have a lavish background.
