Do you know about Mookie Betts and Corbin Carrol who are two amazing players of different teams and also are good friends? They have a podcast called On Base with Mookie Betts where they talk about baseball and other things.

Betts and Carroll Friendship

Mookie Betts is a star outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers and has won two World Series championships one with the Boston Red Sox in 2018 and one with the Dodgers in 2020 and is also a four-time All-Star, a five-time Gold Glove winner and the 2018 AL MVP12.

Corbin Carroll is a young outfielder for the Arizona Diamondbacks who was drafted by the Diamondbacks in 2019 as the 16th overall pick and is popular in baseball for his speed.

Betts and Carroll became friends in 2020 at a charity event in Nashville. They became close right away and found out that they had a lot in common and they also have similar personalities: creative, adventurous, and loyal.

The fight between Tim Anderson and Jose Ramirez

Tim Anderson is a player for the Chicago White Sox and Jose Ramirez is the third baseman for the Cleveland Indians and they got into a fight during a game on 8 Aug 2023. The fight started when Anderrson's team won and he flipped the bat of Ramirez in celebration. Ramirez got angry and they both shouted at each other and a fight and both of them were not allowed to go for three games.

Bett and Carroll watched Anderson and Ramirez fighting each other on TV and they thought it was an unnecessary fight and can cause injuries and so decided to make a pact to not fight if a brawl ever happens between their teams and agreed to walk away from any trouble to protect each other. They made this pact because they value their friendship and respect each other as players and as people.
