Tom Cruise looked dazzling on the red carpet at the Oscars luncheon

Hundreds of celebrities, including Tom Cruise, attended the Oscars luncheon on February 13th, nominated for best actor for his performance in Top Gun: Maverick. There were 182 official nominees at the event, making it the largest turnout in history.

In addition to the best picture and original song for Lady Gaga's "Hold My Hand," sung by BloodPop and Lady Gaga, the film has been nominated for six awards. Cruise has been out of the public eye since June 2022, when he attended a press conference for the film in Seol, South Korea.

Age is catching up with Cruise

It is Cruise's first time back on the red carpet after appearing at the F1 Grand Prix of Great Britain in July 2022. Although Cruise is getting older, the spotlight hasn't left him. The Top Gun: Maverick star wore a dark blue suit and a lavender tie on the red carpet.

Cruise looked fresh from an island when addressing fellow nominees and guests with long hair and a tan. People reported Cruise embraced Austin Butler [Elvis] and Angela Bassett [Black Panther: Wakanda Forever] after receiving their nominations. Cruise then informed the group of the news during lunchtime.

Cruise smiled in many photos with fellow nominees and reunited with director Steven Spielberg, another fellow nominee. Despite his popularity, Cruise didn't seem to have lost it, showing he hadn't lost it. As one user posted a video of Cruise moving through the room repeatedly giving hugs and shaking hands, Twitter joked about Cruise's popularity at the event.
