Steffy claims on seeing Sheila

Steffy is wearing holiday whites to work and appears in a bad mood. Carter follows Taylor in arriving. Steffy revealed Sheila's presence in Los Angeles everyone was shocked. Taylor wonders whether she tried to pursue Steffy because he cannot comprehend what has happened. "No," responds her daughter in disguise. She accidentally bumped into her, they discover. She fled once Steffy identified her due to the missing toe. Her identity was later confirmed by the police using facial recognition technology.  

Katie’s biggest fear

The idea of Sheila being loose causes Katie and Brooke great pain in the design studio. Brooke inquires about Bill since she doesn't want to worry about it any longer. Katie fears he'll revert to his former behavior. They discuss how he convinced them to get together on the same day. And Brooke thinks, Who would even consider being with him after that? While Katie will always care about him, their relationship presently only extends to that. Life is too short to squander it on unhappiness; Katie admits she has been postponing a cardiac follow-up when Brooke realizes she is distressed if she was nervous about going, her sister wonders.

Katie insists she is doing well and will go to the checkup and follow the doctor's instructions. She is stressed, and Brooke wants to go with her. While explaining that it brings her back to the ICU and what Storm did to ensure her survival, Katie argues that she can go on her own. It is miraculous. But everyone is aware that she is surviving on borrowed time.

Carter at Forrester is amazed that Sheila has been present while wearing a wig and a mask. Because she could have injured any of them, Taylor is furious. Taylor believes the cops may have some leads. They hear from Steffy about the police chase and Sheila's escape. She warns the cops that they should assume she'll remain west of Beverly Hills. That's where the majority of them reside, Taylor sighs. For choosing to remain in Los Angeles, Steffy feels she is a moron. She will be located and imprisoned for the remainder of her sad life!

The bond between Brooke and Katie

Brooke places her palm on Katie's heart in the design studio and tells her that Storm must be so proud of her since she brings so much happiness and light into the world. She regrets that her sister had to experience everything. Once this doctor's appointment is through, Katie will concentrate on the holidays and spending time with the people she loves. Once more, Brooke offers to accompany Katie, but she declines. In an embrace. Brooke tells Katie that she is a very special person and has her affection and wipes Katie's eyes.

Brooke welcomes Carter

When Carter enters the design office alone, Brooke welcomes him and inquires whether or not she has seen Katie. Brooke informs him that she is likely still at her doctor's appointment. She says it's her annual checkup for her heart transplant after realizing he wasn't aware of it. She's terrified. She is always curious to know how the test results will turn out. As per Brooke, she wouldn't permit her to accompany her. Not in Carter's opinion, should she be left alone. Brooke concurs.

Steffy diverts the conversation

Taylor and Steffy in the Forrester office are concerned about what Finn must be going through right now. They reassure one another that she will be caught and that everything will end shortly. Steffy shifts the conversation to her mother's romantic history. But not at the expense of her sense of value; she didn't want her with her dad. She and Brooke being on the same side make them chuckle.

Steffy is curious as to what her father is thinking. Although Taylor will always love Ridge, she should learn to love herself more. She and Brooke agreed it was time for them to serve as role models.

Since she was the one who pushed her, Steffy clucks that she has always been a wonderful role model and feels sorry. Taylor believes that there was nothing improper about wanting her parents to reconcile. Steffy believes that instead of telling Ridge about Thomas when she thought the moment was appropriate, she should have waited for Taylor to do so. Assuring her that she made the correct decision, Taylor shakes her head. Steffy tells her mother there is nothing she wouldn't do for her and expresses her pride in Taylor and Brooke.

Katie’s heart transplant

Katie has a flashback of her heart transplant and Brooke telling her to enjoy life to the fullest as they are in the doctor's office. She is astonished to see Carter enter as soon as the door opens. He clarifies how Brooke informed him of her appointment. Katie asserts she is a strong woman and does not want him to feel sorry for her. Carter is in awe of her rather than feeling sorry for her. 

She has given so much to everyone else; she should allow him to support her. Dr. Grace Buckingham enters at that very moment and exclaims, "Carter." Katie hopes that his presence for support won't be an issue. Paris has changed, and so have I, says Grace. If she has her test results, Katie inquires, as Grace claims, yes. Katie takes Carter's hand, then asks to reveal the test results.

The next episode of The Bold and the Beautiful features Ridge, giving Eric an update on what has happened since he returned to Los Angeles. Steffy and Finn celebrate the holidays despite everything happening with Sheila.
