Britney's lawyer requested The Judge
Amid the ongoing legal struggle following the contested termination of her Conservatorship, Britney Spears' attorneys have once again persuaded a US judge to deny her father's request that she appear before him for questioning.
Representatives for the pop star claimed that Jamie Spears' most recent legal filings showed "his purpose to harass, hurt, and retraumatize" his daughter Britney and that he had descended to "a new low."
Attorney appealed before Judge's verdict
Judge Brenda Penny is scheduled to rule on the case on Wednesday. So the lawyers have requested the Judge to deny Jamie's request.
Judge Penny has ruled he must take the stand and answer questions about claims that he watched the singer at her house; he disputes this.

Britney's decision was Retiilitory
Attorneys for the recently wed Britney claimed that the decision to have her take a deposition was "retaliatory."
Lawyers said that Mr. Spears' prior motions to the court contained "many misrepresentations of fact and law" in new filings submitted on Tuesday and acquired by the PA news agency.
According to the documents, Mr. Spears "has stooped to a new low by providing the Court with false "exhibits" containing Ms. Spears's private and personal, sealed material."
Jamie is set to hurt and traumatize Britney again
'"Mr. Spears' most recent filing further establishes his aim to harass, hurt, and retraumatize Britney Spears," the court ruled.
As we have previously observed, any deposition at all, even (or especially) with the so-called "options" espoused by Mr. Spears (i.e., a "referee," which would be unlawful), would be harassing in and of itself.
We humbly request that this court adopt its provisional finding dismissing Mr. Spears's motion to compel Ms. Spears's deposition because of the above factors and those in the record.
