Britney's lawyer redoubles his efforts against her. In court, she has refused to provide testimony or take a deposition

There is a chance that Britney Spears will resume her singing career sometime in the near future, but her counsel is clear that she will not be testifying under oath in the near future.

In the ongoing legal struggle against Jamie Spears, Attorney Mathew Rosengart has submitted court paperwork, stating that the case will be won using documentation, tangible proof, and testimony of Jamie. Rosengart asserts that Britney's testimony would not be pertinent to any pending or future legal action.

Rosengart goes even further, claiming that he has no reason to summon Britney as a witness even if the matter is brought all the way to trial. He claims that any justification for her having to be deposed is "eviscerated" by the fact that she would not be summoned as a witness in the case.

Wrongdoing committed by Jamie

It would appear that Rosengart is focusing his attention on an alleged act of wrongdoing committed by Jamie involving money. It would appear that he is avoiding some of the more personal accusations that Britney has made about her father, despite the fact that he has not yet played his hand.

Request submitted to judge

According to what we have reported, Jamie has submitted a request to the judge to have Britney ordered to sit for a deposition. He argues that Britney has made a number of charges against him in court and on social media and that some of these allegations pertain to his performance as a conservator.

Jamie has challenged a significant number of the assertions that Britney made in the courtroom in June.
