The 29-year-old Liz and her boyfriend, Big Ed, are presently featured on the popular TLC show, where they are having relationship problems. The couple disagreed on their future in the most recent episode due to their insecurities.

Viewers of the 90 Day Fiancé may know Liz works in a restaurant and that Ed is how she met him. However, the couple's work careers have never been explored on the show; instead, it primarily focused on their personal problems.

Liz partnering with Encontro restaurant

Fans recently learned that Liz had unexpectedly received an offer to partner with her restaurant, Encontro, making her the owner. Ed expressed significant worry about his relationship with Liz during the episode because he thought Liz would put the job ahead of him. Liz surprised her boyfriend by secretly accepting the offer without first talking to him about it. The pair fought on the show due to their communication gap, but they ultimately decided to reconsider their relationship.

Fans of 90 Day Fiancé are done with the drama Liz and Ed create, and they now start to think that Liz becoming an owner of the restaurant is a way to maintain the drama.

Reddit users call the incident false

According to a Reddit thread created by Naz6700, the entire incident is fake because it appeared as though Liz's employer, Jason Hotchkiss, received payment to utter something behind the scenes in front of cameras. Additionally, viewers thought Liz's actions on the broadcast were strange. The offer appears like a "plot device" for the program; a Redditor noted that the entire plot seems scripted.

Fans raise ownership claims on Liz

The employment history of Liz is another important factor making this new plot sound fabricated. Most viewers find it difficult to comprehend how the 29-year-old mother received the offer of ownership since she had previously quit her full-time work to save her relationship with Ed. People believe Liz's job at the restaurant isn't "partnership worthy," thus it doesn't make sense for her supervisor to extend such a great chance to her.

Fans saw Ed working with Liz in a restaurant

Ed's worries that if Liz accepts the position, she won't give him as much priority seem unfounded. The 57-year-old reality personality resides close to the eatery in San Diego. He has no business whining about Liz's employment when she is only a few minutes away. Ed has also been sighted by fans at Liz's place of employment, proving that he exaggerates the situation to stir up conflict and controversy.

A Redditor commented on how effortless it must have been for the 90-Day Fiancé franchise star to be there, describing his experience visiting the restaurant and how Ed was a good bartender that increased the footfalls.
