Celebrities are just like us in many ways! At the very least, many of them once were. Yes, some celebrities had ordinary jobs before being well-known because, well, they had to book auditions, pay rent, and maintain their living expenses.

A very few people truly are born famous-famous. In other words, before being famous, superstars were just like the rest of us, performing everyday jobs like "working at McDonald's," "praying mantis exterminator," and "armadillo murderer" to pay their rent, utilities, and credit card payments. Hollywood doesn't really start to pay well until you get cast in the kinds of films and TV shows that the creepy movie trailer voice, you know, the one calls "highly anticipated." And until you, you know, become a music star, you can't enjoy the luxuries of superstardom in the music industry.

Here is the list of top 10 celebrities who had humble beginnings before becoming prosperous.

1. Meghan Markle

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is a former actress and American member of the British royal family. She was a Calligraphist before becoming famous.

Before being the Duchess of Sussex and starring in the legal drama Suits, the former actress had such good handwriting that she employed it as a side hustle while auditioning for roles.
