Wizkid Is Like A Mentor, I Look Up To Him As An Artiste – Kizz Daniel

In a video circulating online popular Nigerian singer Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe better known as Kizz Daniel refers to Wizkid as his mentor.

Kizz daniel made this shocking claim during an online interview and since it’s release fans have been going wild with comments on his page.

Popular for his recent songs “Cough” and “Buga”, Kizz daniel is a well celebrated artist both in Nigeria and internationally. During the interview the “Buga” artist sent a shoutout to Wizkid as he refers to him as an amazing artiste who he looks up to.

This video surfaces after the controversy he had with Wizkid at a backstage event in December 2022 which caused outrage from Wizkid fans who accused  Kizz Daniel of having too much pride and being disrespectful toward Wizkid.

Which is why many were surprised by this new development, however Wizkid fans have applauded his courage, while some has mocked Davido a longtime rival of Wizkid for never being named as a mentor by big artists. 

Kizz Daniel further declares huge respect to Wizkid as he stated that he looks up to him, Innocent Idibia (2Baba) and other top artistes.

He said; “Big shout out to Wizkid,Wizkid is an amazing act, you know Wizkid jumps on the cover of the song, he was like amazing, I was like, wow, Wizkid, he is like a mentor. I look up to Wizkid (2x), I look up to 2face, I look up to a whole lot of artiste in the industry.”

Kizz daniel was born on May first 1994 and is currently 29 years old. His rise to fame began in 2014 with his debut song “Woju”  which he later remixed with popular female Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage. 

After his rise to fame, Kizz daniel signed a deal with G worldwide Entertainment but left after a legal dispute with the Label. He founded the Fly Boy Inc record label in November 2017 which he is currently under.

Kizz Daniel controversy

Although much loved by fans, Kizz daniel is not without controversy on 8 August 2022, he was arrested in Dares Salaam by the Tanzanian police force over failure to perform.
