John Wick 4 Stunt Team Received Very Detailed Gifts From Keanu Reeves

In John Wick: Chapter 4, Keanu Reeves provided the stunt team with fitting and personalized gifts. Reeves' titular assassin takes down waves of enemies in the franchise's trademark slick action set pieces. This movie is no exception and even ups the ante with some of the franchise's biggest action scenes.

Commitment and hard work are essential

A team of stunt performers was required to accomplish this, which Reeves wished to acknowledge for their dedication and hard work. According to The New York Times, Reeves gave each stunt worker a customized t-shirt that showed how many times the performer met his or her death in John Wick: Chapter 4.

Wick dispatched dozens of enemies in each action sequence, so stunt people were frequently killed more than once, with many even killing more than 20 people. It paid off, with John Wick: Chapter 4 hailed as a masterpiece of action filmmaking, but Reeves gave the stunt team his gifts in appreciation of their hard work.

Stunt teams were given wrapped gifts

As one of the nicest people in Hollywood, Reeves is well known for his tendency to give gifts. Reeves also gave out wrap gifts to the John Wick: Chapter 4 stunt team in 2021, along with the t-shirts. After the film wrapped, each of the five people on his stunt team received a Rolex Submariner watch, which cost around $10,000.

The Matrix Resurrections was filmed in 2005. Reeves wanted to thank the stunt team for their hard work by providing them with an all-expense paid trip to the film's premiere, including tickets, hotel accommodations, and even a private jet. His stunt team on The Matrix Reloaded bought Harley-Davidson motorcycles years before that.

He autographs the receipt

Their reputation of Reeves has been built up over the years, with fellow collaborators regularly praising his kindness and generosity. Although he receives substantial payments for his work, he is also quick to pay it forward. The actor has also been observed doing small acts of kindness, including giving up his seat on a bus to a fan or purchasing ice cream and emblazoning a receipt with his autograph.

Aside from supporting charities, he donates to cancer research and children's hospitals. Despite playing a vengeful assassin in John Wick: Chapter 4, Reeves has proven to be a kind soul who lives up to the stereotype of Hollywood being disingenuous.
