Actor Billy Porter unveiled that he is being forced to sell his house on the market. This happens due to the effect of financial battles, rising from the strikes of Hollywood's actors. Porter declared in an interview that he has to sell his home since the actors are on strike, and he doesn't know when he will return to work. The 'Cinderella' and 'Pose' stars said that most people wrongly interpret the actor's wealth, and thus, they think they have sufficient money to live this strike without any major changes in their lifestyle. The Streaming companies are dense with viewership figures
"There isn't a contract in place for this. Additionally, transparency with the numbers is no longer required, as streaming companies are known for keeping their viewership data confidential," Porter remarked. "As the industry has been changed, the contract terms must also be modified and adapted," the artist commented. In July, the president of SAG-AFTRA, Fran Drescher, told CBS Mornings that many folks needed help to meet the threshold to receive health insurance, around $26,000 annually. Hollywood Writers was on Strike Since The Beginning of May
