Billy Porter says he's selling his house during the actor's strike!

Actor Billy Porter unveiled that he is being forced to sell his house on the market. This happens due to the effect of financial battles, rising from the strikes of Hollywood's actors. Porter declared in an interview that he has to sell his home since the actors are on strike, and he doesn't know when he will return to work. The 'Cinderella' and 'Pose' stars said that most people wrongly interpret the actor's wealth, and thus, they think they have sufficient money to live this strike without any major changes in their lifestyle. Porter said that he already has starved out.

The Streaming companies are dense with viewership figures

"There isn't a contract in place for this. Additionally, transparency with the numbers is no longer required, as streaming companies are known for keeping their viewership data confidential," Porter remarked. "As the industry has been changed, the contract terms must also be modified and adapted," the artist commented. In July, the president of SAG-AFTRA, Fran Drescher, told CBS Mornings that many folks needed help to meet the threshold to receive health insurance, around $26,000 annually. Hollywood Writers was on Strike Since The Beginning of May

In early May, Hollywood writers were put on strike, and they participated on the picket lines with Hollywood actors in the middle of July when the two groups failed to make a deal with the 'Television Pictures' and 'Alliance of Motion Pictures.' The group shows all the major Hollywood studios and makes the first time since 1960 that the groups have been on strike simultaneously. One of the studios, ' Paramount Pictures,' has been involved in the negotiations, and CBS News became part of 'Paramount Global.' Several CBS News employees are affiliated with the Writers Guild or the SAG-AFTRA, though the strikes couldn’t affect the contract terms.
