SS Rajamouli's RRR won four awards at the Hollywood Critics Association Film Awards on Friday night. A star-studded cast includes Ram Charan and Jr NTR. After winning the Critics' Choice and Golden Globe awards, the HCA Film Awards awarded Rajamouli's magnum opus Best Action Film, Best International Feature, Best Original Song, and Best Stunts. The action epic also won Best Original Song and Best Stunts.
Rajamouli's thankful statement
According to Rajamouli, his entire team deserves to be thanked in his acceptance speech. A statement from Rajamouli reads, "I express my appreciation to the Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) for its recognition of RRR as having the best stunts in the industry." Thank you very much. The choreographer has put in a lot of hard work executing all the stunts, and Juji [the stunt master] assisted with some of the climax action sequences. My thanks also go to all the other choreographers who have worked hard and come to India to understand our vision. Happy words about the victory
Besides Jr NTR and Ram Charan performing the bulk of the stunts, the filmmaker also revealed that Roshan performed the majority of the stunts. I was delighted to learn that there were hardly 2-3 shots in which we used body doubles in the innumerable action shots in the entire film. The actors performed all the stunts. They are a wonderful bunch. Three hundred twenty days have been devoted to making this film, most of which was dedicated to the stunts. I am grateful to my whole team for their efforts. The recognition means a lot to me, my film, and the Indian film industry. We can continue to fly. In RRR, Ram Charan and Jr NTR play the roles of two Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. The film was a fantasy based on two Telugu freedom fighters' lives. The film was a worldwide success, generating over Rs 1,200 crore in revenues. Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, and Shriya Saran also played roles.
