RRR is a Periodical Drama with a Fictional Plot, which is being screened for the first time in India.

It is a fictional story based on Alluri Sita Rama Raju and Komaram Bheem, two renowned freedom fighters. The film is set in the 1920s and depicts both of them away from home before fighting for the country.

Alluri Sitarama Raju (4 July 1897/1898 – 7 May 1924) was an Indian revolutionary who fought for India's independence. The 1882 Madras Forest Act imposed limits on tribal people's freedom of movement in the forest, preventing them from practicing their traditional podu agricultural system, which comprised shifting cultivation. Alluri led the 1922 Rampa Rebellion, a band of tribals and sympathizers who attacked the British Raj in the border districts of the East Godavari and Visakhapatnam provinces of Madras Presidency, in present-day Andhra Pradesh, against the law. Local locals labeled him "Manyam Veerudu" (translation: "Hero of the Jungle").

Komaram Bheem (1900/1901–1940) was a Gond tribal rebel leader in British India who, along with other Gond leaders and communist revolutionaries, led a low-intensity rebellion against the feudal Nizamate of Hyderabad and the British Raj in the eastern part of the princely state during the 1930s, which contributed to the Telangana Rebellion of 1946. In 1940, armed cops assassinated him, and he was later lionized as a symbol of defiance and eulogized in Adivasi and Telugu culture. Bheem is worshipped as a hero in Gond culture. He is credited with coining the slogan Jal, Jangal, Zameen (Water, Forest, Land), which Adivasi groups have adopted as a call to action against encroachment and exploitation. He was also actively involved in the Telangana statehood movement.

Dialects of Unsung heroes

As we know, "Jr. NTR" will play Komaram Bheem in the film; therefore, he will embrace "Telangana slang" to portray the character authentically, whereas Ramcharan will portray "Alluri Sita Rama Raju" Avatar.
