Pedro Jimeno and Chantel Everett who were much in love with each other recently announced their decision of taking a divorce publicly to their The Family Chantel fans and their breakup has been quite nasty.

Instead of a clean break, Pedro and Chantel have bad mouthed about each other over social media. Pedro Jimeno is surrounded by cheating rumors, and the pair have taken legal actions against one another. After watching their love story first on 90 Day Fiancé love story and over four seasons of The Family Chantel, many viewers are upset that their relationship has taken such a drastic turn.

The Family Chantel is no more the one it used to be

The series follows Pedro and Chantel, as well as their families, showing how they all blend together and handle their cultural differences. The couple was a fan-favorite from 90 Day Fiancé season 4 and were also given their own spin-off of the show so viewers could see more of their interesting dynamic. Though they have overcome many hurdles in their relationship, the pair seems to be at a breaking point in The Family Chantel season 4.

The two have been through some explosive fights in the show, which has even led to more of a physical violence between the two at a family dinner, with the show's producers having to break it up. Meanwhile, this season of The Family Chantel has seen Chantel slamming doors on Pedro.

Pedro and Chantel have also been whining about each other to their partner's parents. Chantel told Pedro's mom that he does not do anything around the house and does not want to spend time with her; Pedro told Chantel's mom that she is lazy and she does not do any work, and fans cannot decide which one of them is pettier.

It's all Use and Throw in this relationship

Pedro's potential infidelity with a coworker is one of the season 4's major plotlines. Fans are turning against Pedro, claiming that he has been using Chantel and no longer cares about their relationship, despite the fact it occurs that Chantel appeared to want to work on their marriage.Antonella Barrenechea, the  coworker Pedro is accused of having an affair with, is 10 years junior to him and is barely out of high school, so their divorce is only getting messier.

Pedro had filed for divorce from Chantel on May 27, 2022, though they have been separated for far longer. According to a source, Pedro and Chantel also filed mutual restraining orders against each other that went into effect on July 22. 

Chantel’s reasoning for the restraining order is adultery as well as physical domestic violence. The Family Chantel fans may have seen Pedro and Chantel's divorce coming, but their behavior throughout the separation and legal actions against one another has shocked many viewers.
