Alicia Keys' stage bodyguard is her 8-year-old son Genesis

Alicia Keys seems to have added a new bodyguard to her already long list of qualified staff in the form of her 8-year-old son Genesis.

The Grammy-winning "Girl on Fire" singer, known for her mesmerizing performances, had the sweetest surprise as her son stepped up to protect her amid recent reports of unruly concertgoers throwing objects at performers.

During the singer's sensational Seattle concert, the crowd witnessed a heartwarming and unexpected moment when Alicia Keys' youngest son, the charming 8-year-old Genesis, decided to play the role of an extra special bodyguard for his talented mom.

Proud father and husband, Swiss Beatz, captured the endearing moment and shared a series of heartwarming photos on his Instagram account. In the loving post, he playfully highlighted Genesis' dedication, mentioning how his son was well aware of the current challenges faced by artists during concerts. Swiss expressed pride in his young boy's serious demeanor, which he showed in real life while safeguarding his beloved mother.

After the post surfaced, numerous celebrities couldn't resist sharing their thoughts on the adorable and humorous incident. Tracee Ellis Ross joined the conversation with a comment, expressing her amusement while also acknowledging the seriousness of the situation. She remarked, "This is both hilarious and concerning. People seem to have lost their sense of reason."

Adding to the conversation, Bia left a comment playfully highlighting Genesis' protective nature towards his mom. Bia's comment reflected her admiration for the young boy's determination and stated, "He's not messing around when it comes to his momma, okay! Just know that."

This isn't the first time the singer's youngest son has proved his protectiveness for his mom. In a heartwarming video previously shared by the "No One" artist, Genesis is seen engaging in an adorable exchange with Alicia as she prepared for a performance.

As Alicia donned a cropped, sheer button-down shirt for her show, Genesis couldn't help but express his concern. He inquired, "Are you really going to do this, Mom?" with a touch of curiosity. The young boy's attention was drawn to the heart-shaped pasties that Alicia wore instead of a bra under the shirt.

In response, Alicia reassured her son, saying, "It's cool," explaining that the heart-shaped pasties were part of her outfit. However, Genesis, still surprised, wondered if everyone would see her boobs. Alicia calmly explained that only the heart-shaped design would be visible, not her entire chest.

Showing her choreography to Genesis, Alicia received some cute tips from her son. Instead of swinging her arms over her head, Genesis playfully suggested she incorporate squats and clapping before jumping back up. His thoughtful suggestions added a touch of innocence and charm to the moment.

Alicia reiterated to her son that it wasn't a big deal and emphasized that everyone has breasts. Her husband playfully commented “my guy” on the video showing his pride in their little guy's protective nature.

Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz became proud parents when they welcomed their first child, Egypt Daoud Dean, on October 14, 2010. Four years later, their joy multiplied as they embraced their second son, Genesis Ali Dean, on December 27, 2014. The couple's love and devotion extended beyond their own children, as they lovingly co-parented Swizz Beatz's three children from his previous marriage: his sons Prince Nasir (22) and Kasseem Jr. (16), along with his daughter Nicole (14).

Even after more than a decade together, the couple is still going strong with their children already spreading love and light in whatever they do.
