She has filed a lawsuit against Lady Gaga for $1.5 million over her $500,000 offer to return the dogs after the theft of her two dogs. Jennifer McBride has been convicted of stealing her dogs. In an attempt to get back her dogs, she was first offered $500,000 "no questions asked" with no questions. Now she wonders where she'll get the money.

A dog walker took Gaga's two pups, Koji and Gustav, from her in February 2021. After the pups were stolen, Gaga offered a $500K reward for their return. Despite returning the dogs, McBride was charged with a crime that involved receiving the stolen property. She was an accessory to the crime after receiving the stolen property.

Even though she was sentenced to two years probation for her criminal ties in December 2022, McBride is still attempting to receive her $500,000 payment from Gaga and has sued her to get it. McBride also wants the reward money tripled to $1.5 million, claiming that the post was misleading in addition to the reward money.

Gaga received them back unharmed

A four-door white Nissan Altima pulled up beside Ryan Fischer while he was walking Gaga's three dogs on Feb. 24, just before 10 p.m. PT. Two suspects jumped out and surrounded him, demanding he turns over the dogs after pulling up beside him. In the struggle, one assailant shot Fischer in the chest before grabbing two of his dogs and fleeing.

When Fischer was hospitalized following the attack, he recalled lying in a pool of blood and cradling the remaining dog. Although two dogs were taken, Koji and Gustav were found unharmed and returned to Gaga after their release. A 21-year sentence was given to Jackson, the man who shot Fischer.
