Having a little patience can earn 160 pounds if you are in London!

Freddie Beckitt said queuing comes naturally to him as he’s a Londoner and has practiced it “down to a fine art.” But, this 31-year old man said, his work incredible patience to remain barely moving through the full eight hours of the day. He says that his customers vary from busy young families to older pensioners.

The best days are!

The Fulham resident said that his best days are when he is asked to queue for tickets to trendy events, such as performances at the Apollo Theatre, for those who have money but not enough time. He said the actual queuing was just 3 hours, but those who hired him asked him to collect their tickets and asked him to wait for them. So that, he spent the remaining time “perusing” the museum and got paid for that.

Busy in Summer!

During Summer, big events and exhibitions are held on in London. He said He remained busy at that time. But, there are times when Mr. Beckitt has had to wait in the cold during winter.

Mr. Beckitt advertises his skills on Taskrabbit, an online marketplace where that matches freelance labor with local demand. And there, Mr. Beckitt offers services like pet sitting, packing, errands, and gardening. He said he’s also happy to get paid to: look after pets, pack, help with house moves, run errands and take part in a spot of gardening.

Mr. Beckitt's advice to others

Although he is a professional queuer and earns well through his gig of his, he claims that one cannot make this a full-time job for queues do not last that long. Mr. Beckitt is a writer by profession. He said that it does not require any skills or even hard work. But, it gives him a lot of flexibility to earn and fit it into his writing schedule.
