Gary Busey charged with sex offence in nj. Monstercon appearance

Gary Busey is currently being investigated for criminal behavior in New Jersey, where police assert, among other things, that he engaged in inappropriate contact with individuals.

On Friday, the Cherry Hill Police Department charged the actor with four offenses: two counts of criminal sexual contact, one crime of criminal attempt/sexual contact, and one count of harassment. All of these allegations are felonies.

According to the police, this all started when someone reported a sexual assault at the Doubletree Hotel over the weekend of August 12-14.

They describe more than one incident that people reported during the Monster Mania Convention, which was an event for which he was booked to appear, but the specifics of any claimed conduct are unclear at this point. The CHPD did not provide any additional information regarding the reports.

There is no question in anyone's mind that Gary was present for this event. FYI throughout the three days, he took several photographs with fans. You only need to look in his tagged section on Instagram to see all of the people he has mentioned.

It is unknown whether Busey is still in town or not, nor is it known what the procedure will be to have him answer for these allegations in Jersey if he has left the state.

Also unknown is what the procedure will look like. It is common knowledge that he resides in California, but it does not appear that he was detained in that state during the past week.

Gary's representatives

We've tried getting in touch with Gary's representatives, but we haven't heard anything back. The media has also contacted the Cherry Hill Police Department to obtain additional information on all of this; however, the department has not yet answered.
