According to the spoilers for "90 Day Fiancé," Kara Bass and her partner, Guillermo Rojer, appeared on the show and were one of the couples who caused controversy because of Kara's perception of herself. Kara, who was 29 then, referred to herself as a cougar despite a 6-year age gap between them. Guillermo was also a contestant on the show.

The two first became acquainted in the Dominican Republic, where Kara was working.
