NBA All World Is an Upcoming Immersive 3d Game in the Style of Pokemon Go

Niantic creates a very particular kind of game that mixes outside exploration with GPS-based augmented reality features. It offers unique games like Ingress and the forthcoming Peridot, but Pokemon has been its most well-known brand. Even a Transformers-themed game was announced last year. Since Ingress, all of Niantic's games have been set in a fictitious universe, but its upcoming collaboration and game take inspiration from reality. A game similar to Pokemon Go called NBA All World is based on the NBA. The game is "The NBA lifestyle meets the real-world metaverse," according to Marcus Matthews, Niantic's senior producer on All World, however, Niantic appears to have created its understanding of the term "metaverse" which implies.

All World is conceptually similar to Niantic's previous virtual reality games where users explore the actual world to gather goods, compete against NBA players, and be the best player on their local court (whose likenesses will appear in the game). It will include genuine NBA gear, accessories, and music. For instance, according to Matthews, a neighboring convenience shop will turn into a site you must go to to buy stamina for your player, and a nearby sports goods store will be where you can buy the newest models of designer shoes to make your squad unique. In the past, Matthews has contributed to sports video games, including the first 2K football and basketball titles on the Dreamcast. His concept for NBA All-World is to take the basketball simulation seen in computer games and relocate it outside.

Matthews talked about how he used to take his buddies to the park to play basketball when he was a youngster and how he believes NBA All-World will provide a similar experience. Discussions regarding NBA All-World, according to O'Keefe, started about five years ago in the aftermath of Pokemon Go and were inspired by Niantic creator John Hanke's passion for the game. He is the game's creative force, according to Matthews. A release of NBA All-World is anticipated for the 2022–2023 NBA season. At NBAAllWorld.com, you may pre-register for the game.
