Olympians are the world's top athletes and some of the youngest celebrities in the world. They represent their country by wearing the national colours while they participate. Most of the time, we get to see these athletes compete when they are in the prime of their careers, which is typically before the age of 30 and frequently before the age of 20. Since the Olympics only occur once every four years, it's not surprising that they mature rapidly. But after they retire, we rarely hear from athletes, and we have no idea what they're doing! We've tracked down the best so you can check out their latest projects; good news!

Shawn Johnson

Her introduction to gymnastics came when she was just three years old. She had already won the balancing beam event in 2008. The following year, Forbes dubbed her "America's Most-Liked Sports Figure." Johnson then made her retirement from gymnastics official on June 3, 2012.

Alicia Sacramone

Starting when she was eight years old, Alicia competed in gymnastics in the US National Championships and earned a total of 12 medals between 2004 and 2008. To date, she has won a total of ten medals, making her the second-most successful gymnast in American history. After the 2012 season, she decided to end her athletic career.

He often takes part in competitions and events that raise money for good causes. As Novak Djokovic's coach, he was at the 2017 French Open.

Vonn, a skier who first competed in the Olympics when she was 17, won the first gold medal for the U.S. in the women's downhill in 2010. Ryan Lochte

The New Yorker known as "Jeah" competed in his first Olympics in 2004. At the 2012 London Olympics, he won his first individual gold in the men's 400-meter individual medley. Even though Lochte has had problems at work, he has done well in his personal life. In June 2017, he and the model Kayla Reid had a son named Caiden. Ashley Wagner

In April 2021, former Bachelor contestant Colton Underwood came out as gay, and Kenworthy announced a Netflix series with him. Kenworthy won his first gold in February 2020.

Meryl Davis & Charlie White

The 1997-formed ice dancing team won Olympic silver in 2010. After winning the 2011 World Championships in Russia, they won the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Eric Heiden

Eric Heiden became the first speed skater to win every event at the 1980 Lake Placid Games. Heiden won five Olympic golds and other honours. He also rode well. Dominique Moceanu

Birgit Fischer
