This week’s Elite Wrestling gave an overwhelming show to the crowd on the 16th of August in an episode of AEW Dynamite. It was a special episode featuring the fight for Fallen 2023 and was filled with whopping moments. However, the spotlight of the show was the International Championship match between Orange Cassidy and Wheeler Yuta.

Let’s take a look at what happened in this war for International Championship and how the deathmatch goes for Hardy and Jarrett.

Orange Cassidy vs. Wheeler Yuta

This week’s AEW Dynamite commences with Cassidy stepping into the ring to defend Yuta in the international championship.

This time Cassidy went straight for the fight, avoiding his typical mind games. Mainly, his strategy changed because he knew Yuta will not buy into it. They quickly engaged in a quick round of counters and takedowns.

Within 12-18 months, so much has changed for both fighters. Now. they both grow, learn, and advance their character while avoiding any cheap pops and comedy spots.

On one side, Yuta showed his aggression in the match which he developed after joining up Blackpool Combat Club. On the other side, Cassidy continued to display why he is among the AEW’s hottest stars for several years. For the viewers, their unique styles created a fun performance to watch.

Claudio Castagnoi and Job Maxley came out to watch the fight. They attacked the champ of the match and beat him down. Though Trent Beretta and Chuck Taylor ran to save the champ, but they were also taken down. As a result, The Lucha Bros came out to go after BCC.

The crowd went nuts when Eddie Kingston went after Castagnoli in AEW. The Mad King openly challenged BCC to fight at ‘All In’ at Stampede Stadium.

The champion of this match was Orange Cassidy.

Earlier, MJF and Adam Cole talked about their upcoming match at All In in a long segment. Aussie Open failed at his attempt to attack and was eventually taken down by AEW Champion and his best friend.

Hardy and Jarrett then contested in the death match themed as Texas Chainsaw Massacre. As soon as Hardy made his entry in AEW, he went straight through the crowd backstage to find Jarrett. Unfortunately, he could not get a chance to pick a weapon from the display on the wall as he was blindsided.

The moment was gone. From Jarrett’s side, his associates get involved. To back up Hardy, Ethan Page, Zay, and Matt Hardy lend a hand. This chaos continues for a longer time creating confusion in the crowd.

Eventually, the proper fight kicked off between Hardy and Jarette in the ring. The crowd went wild during the best parts of the entertaining match.

In one of the bizarre moments, an anonymous leather-faced man came out running after Karen Jaretta with a chainsaw. As a counterattack, Satnam Singh came out to beat Hardy.

Eventually, Jeff Jarett became the winner of the themed deathmatch.
