The Calcutta Riots of 1946, also known as the ‘Great Calcutta Killing,’ was four days of massive Hindu-Muslim riots in the capital of Bengal, India, resulting in 5000 to 10,000 dead and some 15,000 wounded between August 16 and 19, in 1946-47 period.

U.S. President – 2021

Outgoing U.S. President Donald Trump is impeached for a second time on a charge of incitement of insurrection following the storming of the capitol week prior. It was the 45th president of the United States. After his first impeachment in 2019 December, on again the fourth impeachment, he was the president.

Hawaii False missile alert – 2018

On the morning of Saturday, January 13, 2018, a ballistic missile alert was accidentally issued via the Emergency Alert System and Wireless Emergency Alert System over television, radio, and cell phones in the U.S. state of Hawaii. A false emergency alert warning impending missile strike in Hawaii caused widespread panic in the state.

Cruise Ship disaster – 2012

On 13th January, the Italian cruise ship Costa Concordia struck an underwater rock, capsized, and sank in shallow waters off Isola del Giglio, Tuscany, resulting in about 32 deaths. Although a six-hour rescue effort brought most of the passengers ashore, 32 were dead – 27 passengers, five crew, and later, one member of the salvage team.

Satyavrat Chaturvedi – 1950

He is an Indian Politician and was a former member of the Indian Congress, which removed him from the party for six years on November 19, 2018. Satyavrat was a member of the Indian parliament serving in the Rajya Sabha, the upper chamber, and representing Madhya Pradesh.

Piyush Mishra – 1963

Piyush Mishra was born and raised in Gwalior. He is an Indian actor, music director, lyricist, vocalist, and playwright who worked in both film and theatre. His career began in Hindi theatre in Delhi.

Adhyayan Suman – 1988

Adhyayan is an Indian film actor born in Mumbai. He works in Bollywood, Tamil Telugu Movies. He also made his on-screen debut with the Hindi film Haal-e-dil (2008) as Rohit, for which he won the Film fare Award and stardust awards.

Philip Tartaglia – 2020

Filippo Philip Tartaglia was a Scottish prelate who served as a bishop of the Catholic Church. He served as Metropolitan Archbishop of Glasgow from 2012 until 2021. Previously he served as Bishop of Paisley.

Lawrence Phillips – 2016

He is an American gridiron football running back player who played in the National Football League (NFL) for three seasons. According to the final coroner’s report, Phillips hanged himself with a bedsheet that had been ripped in half that was happened in prison.
