The early life of Yung Joc

Yung's real name is Jasiel Amon Robinson. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on September 20, 1983. He is the son of Stanley Tucker, who ran a hair care products company and gave Yung a chance to write a jingle for his company named Revlon. Yung Joc started rapping and founded his record label called Mastermind.

Career 

Yung was always rapping, but his rise to stardom happened after meeting Nitti Beatz. Nitti is an Atlanta producer, and together they recorded " It's going down" in 2015.

Russell's Block signed Joc to Bad Boy South, Diddy's Combs label. Yung released his debut album, "New Joc City," on June 6, 2006. It also ranked three on the Billboard 200 and 1 onTop R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums charts. It's Going Down was certified 3xPlatinum, made it to Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts, and peaked at #3 on the "Billboard" Hot 100 chart.

In 2006 Joc featured on Cheri Dennis' "I Love You," Danity Kane's "Show Stopper," Lil Boosie's "Zoom," and Trae's "In the Hood."

The same year he was also on the Forbes 20 Richest Rappers of the world list.

Yung's second album is "Hustlenomics," on August 28, 2007. It also reached the top 3 Billboard 2000 charts.

In 2007 he also featured on T Pain's hit single Buy you a Drank. It reached #1 on the "Billboard" Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts. Yung also performed in DJ Drama's "5000 One.

In 2008 Yung released a mix tape, " Joc is Back," featured on Hot Stylz Lookin Boy.

In 2009 Joc released another mix tape Grind Flu on the Swagg Team Entertainment website. He also performed Day26's "Imma Put It on Her.

In 2010 released, Yeah Boy, the first single of his third album.

In 2011 he released I know what she likes. However, in 2012 a news broke and said

RCA Music Group would shut down Jive Records, Arista Records, and J Records, meaning that Yung Joc would release his music l on RCA Records. In 2014 he released two more singles.

In 2011 Joc's studio material was robbed, worth $70,000. The unreleased songs, which were in a hard drive, were stolen. Later it was revealed that one of the thieves was a honcho in Thomaston, Georgia. Yung has eight children with four partners.

Joc was engaged to Kendra Robinson in July 2019. However, later the couple was set to marry in 2020 but had to put the wedding on hold given the pandemic.

In 2020 Yung was filmed driving, and he said he was doing it for the company Pull Up N Go even though he had financial struggles. He said he did it because he was involved with Big Boss's sister of Metro Atlanta for years a d wanted to show his children the importance of making a living.

In 2008 Joc charged a lawsuit against Bad Boy Entertainment and Block Entertainment because of unpaid royalties. He said, "I haven't been paid any royalties since I've been out, after over a million albums sold. For my first album, they gave me a $25,000 advance when I was supposed to get more…Then I had a million-dollar budget for my second album but never even got an advance off of it. For the third one, they hit me with another $25,000 like I'm some chump in this shit. And I just got tired of it."

In 2012 Bad Boy Entertainment was sued by Master Mind Music. Later the label declared it held all the rights to Ying's music which he created from.2005.
