Memphis Bleek is an American rapper with a $200,000 net worth. He is most likely most recognized for his role as Jay-"hype Z's man." Memphis subsequently established his own record companies, including Get Low Records and Warehouse Music Group. He has published a total of four albums over his career. Early Life

Malik Deshawn Cox's life started on June 23, 1978, in New York City. Malik grew up in Marcy Projects, which is where Jay-Z lives and where Malik also grew up. Cox also spent a lot of his childhood with Sean Price, who is also his best friend.

Memphis Bleek was once viewed as Jay-protégé Z's because he was one of the first artists to sign with Roc-A-Fella Records (Jay-label). Z Soon thereafter, Bleek began to appear on Jay albums, including "Reasonable Doubt," "The Dynasty: Roc La Familia," and "The Blueprint 2: The Gift & The Curse." Memphis was able to release his debut album "Coming of Age" in 1999 due to this exposure. The album reached its highest position on the charts at number seven, selling about 120,000 copies in its first week.

Bleek released three additional albums, beginning with "The Understanding." This album was certified Gold, as was made in 2003. He subsequently took a three-year break to care for his severely injured older brother, who had been involved in a motorbike accident. Following his comeback, he released the song "543," which featured contributions from renowned singers such as Rihanna and Jay-Z. This album earned positive reviews from critics.

"Is That Yo Chick" was his most successful hit in terms of commercial success. This song featuring Missy Elliott and Jay-Z reached number seven on the Billboard charts. Bleek has collaborated with various different musicians throughout the years, including DMX, Ja Rule, T.I., Trick Daddy, Beanie Sigel, and Young Guns.

Memphis said that he was making a new album called "The Process" in 2005. The record, however, was not put out. Bleek left Roc-A-Fella Records in the end and signed with Mass Appeal Entertainment. Jay-Z and Bleek's divorce was friendly, and Jay-Z told Bleek that he might be more successful if he started his own business. He worked with The Liberty Music Group to make "KG Vol. 2" in 2012. He worked with The Liberty Music Group again the next year to record "The Movement." In 2014, Bleek put out a free mixtape called "The Movement 2."

In 2016, Memphis Bleek filed a Chapter 13 petition to go bankrupt. In his statement, he said that all of his assets were worth $274,190. There was a house in New Jersey, a Chevrolet Impala, a few pieces of clothing, and two wedding bands. He thought that his debts would add up to $384,804. Bleek also said that he had no money in his bank account and only $100 in cash, which is probably the most disturbing thing he said.

Also, the bankruptcy filing showed that Bleek made about $6,000 a month in 2016, with $5,350 coming directly from his firm. After all of his monthly expenses, which added up to about $5,350, were taken out, he was left with about $500 at the end of each month. Reports say that Memphis owes the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) $9,000 and the Monmouth County Superior Court $13,000, in addition to his mortgage and car payments.
