Jim Edmonds is an American broadcaster and former center-fielder in professional baseball. He began playing baseball professionally in 1993 and has since spent time with a number of MLB organizations, including the California/Anaheim Angels, St. Louis Cardinals, San Diego Padres, Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Brewers, and Cincinnati Reds. He experienced an Achilles tendon issue in 2010, and in February 2011, he made his official retirement from the gaming industry known.

He started his announcing career in March 2013 as a member of Fox Sports Midwest's St. Louis Cardinals broadcasting team, following his retirement. He had started The Precinct with his business partner Mark Winfield in the same year he worked in the food industry.

The retired baseball player, James Patrick Edmonds, was born on June 27, 1970, with the horoscope sign of Cancer. He was born in Fullerton, California, to loving parents. He hasn't, however, given the public any information about his parents. He is an American citizen who practices Christianity and is of white Caucasian origin.

His academic background includes attendance at Diamond Bar High School in the eastern part of the Los Angeles County town of Diamond Bar. Furthermore, it is unknown if he has continued his higher education by attending college. Soon after graduating, he started playing baseball. In the seventh round of the 1988 Major League Baseball draught, the California Angels selected him. But because of his hurt shoulder, he fell into the drafting.

After that, he was traded to the Northwest League team known as the Bend Bucks. In 1990, he was promoted to the California League's "High-A" Palm Springs Angels. He played for the Vancouver Canadians in 1993 after being promoted to Double-A with the Midland Angels of the Texas League in 1992. Additionally, he had a minor league contract with the Milwaukee Brewers in 2010, which was ultimately exchanged for Chris Dickerson in order to send him to the Cincinnati Reds.

Following that, in February 2011, Edmonds agreed to a minor league contract with the St. Louis Cardinals. He announced his retirement from baseball on February 18, 2011, the same year, due to ongoing symptoms of an injured Achilles tendon. He experimented with a number of business ventures after retiring, in addition to his broadcasting career.

In terms of his personal life, he has been married three times and divorced twice. He had initially married Lee Ann Horton, who died of cancer in 2015. He'd had two daughters with Lee. In 2008, he married Allison Jayne Raski for the second time. However, the couple had a son and a daughter together before divorcing in 2014.

On October 24, 2014, he remarried for the third time to American reality television actress Meghan O'Toole King. He also starred in the TV show The Real Housewives of Orange County with Meghan. In 2016, the couple welcomed a daughter on Thanksgiving Day. Hayes and Hart, their twin boys, were born on June 5, 2018. His marriage, however, did not last long, as he filed for divorce on October 25, 2019.

Meghan also filed for divorce after accusing him of cheating on her with one of their nannies, Carly Wilson. Their divorce will now be completed in May 2021. Following that, he is currently engaged to former Playboy model Kortnie O'Conner, whom he dated for a year and a half.
