Kid No 1: When Alex was five years old, we adopted him from foster care after nine years of infertility and miscarriages. Now he is 16 years old and a 10th grader.  

Kid no 2: We found out we were pregnant with Zoey six days later. Currently in fourth grade and almost ten years old, Zoey.

Kid no 3: Our case worker questioned us about adopting James from foster care a year later. He was a young boy of six. At the age of 15, James is a ninth-grader.

Kid no 9& 10: We first heard of Bree & Patrick, a family living in a residential treatment facility, when Harlee was a little child. No one could control their activities; therefore, they were being divided up for adoption. When they were 8 and 11, we adopted them and requested they keep them together. Bree is now in fifth grade and is 11 years old. Patrick is currently in seventh grade and is 13 years old.
