Daniel Tosh was born on 29th May 1975 in Boppard, Rhineland-Palatinate of West Germany. He is known as the son of a Presbyterian minister and grew up in Titusville, Florida.

He has three siblings; one is his brother, and the other two are his sisters. Daniel did his schooling in 1993 at Astronaut High School, and he moved on to join the University of Central Florida.

In 1996, he earned a graduate degree in Marketing. Still, in half a semester early, he began a passion for pursuing a comedy career. So he worked in Central Florida Research Park as a telemarketer for $15 per hour to pay the payment for bills before moving to Los Angeles to fulfill his dream. Also, he had a short door-to-door stint selling knives before entering the comedy world.

In later 1998, Daniel tosh got a chance to discover an act at the Theater Saint-Denis, Montreal. After this act, he was televised to perform in Hollywood. So he made his appearances on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay’, ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live, ‘Premium Blend of Comedy Central’ and ‘The Late Show with David Letterman.
