Ashton was born on February 7, 1978, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and graduated in biochemical engineering before quitting to travel to New York City and pursue modeling. He found passion in photo sessions and on the Calvin Klein catwalk.

He then relocated to Los Angeles and changed his career again, this time to acting. Following a successful audition, he won the casting role as Kelso on the hit FOX sitcom That 70's Show, which raised him to stardom.

His other shows include

Just Married

Guess Who

Cheaper by the Dozen

The Butterfly Effect

He also produced series like

Opportunity Knocks (game show)

Due to conflicts in schedule with his role in the action drama The Guardian, he was forced to fall back on his appearances on the final season of That 70s Show in 2006 and instead appeared as a "special guest star." In 2010, he returned to the big screen in Killers, playing an assassin in the action comedy he also produced. He then replaced Charlie Sheen in the series Two and a Half Men the following year after the former actor's unexpected departure from the program. This turned out to be a very advantageous position for Kutcher because the program continued to be well-watched.

Net Worth and earnings

Ashton made $800,000 for each and every episode of "Two and a Half Men," which totaled $20 million every season, which contributed to a net worth of $200 million.
