Unbelievable: Hugh Jackman's Wolverine in Deadpool 3 Revealed!

High Jackman will return as Wolverine in Deadpool 3 even after saying he was done with the character several times. Jackman has played the role of Wolverine 2000’s Xmen for over 17 years and he has reprised his role in numerous movies which conclude with the release of Logan in 2017. Logan ended with the character dying as the legacy was carried on through his daughter Laura. 

Ryan Reynolds announced at the end of September last year that High Jackman will return and this caused a frenzy among comic book movie fans. Everyone is hanging on their claws to know how Wolverine will return amid his death at the end of the film.  

Ryan Reynolds posted a photo of himself and Jack on his instagram story and captioned “ Don’t blink”, in their characters costumes.Jackman reassured his fans that his reappearance on deadpool 3 will not interfere with the ending of Logan. And now they are waiting to see him rock in his iconic yellow and blue suit with a helmet. 

Comic book fans have been dazzling with excitement since the announcement of Deadpool 3. Many fans were elated on twitter as the costumes clearly depicted the real costumes in the comic book original movies. 

Following the reappearance of Jackman on Deadpool 3 many fans were questioning the damage that it will cause on the ending of logan. However, Marvel was quick to ensure that the ending is not affected since Deadpool 3 is set in the present time whereas Logan was set in 2029. Knowing that the ending of Logan will not be affected, fans can now relax and enjoy Deadpool 3 and nothing will get in the way of the return of Jackman as Wolverine. 

An exciting prospect of Wolverine returning in Deadpool is the idea of Jackman giving the audience a different appearance of the character, different from what we have been seeing throughout his time at 20th century fox. The wolverine that glued the screen for over 20 years was always ground and stern, but with Deadpool 3 we anticipate a great comeback with different styles but with the same actor sprouting thrills once more.

It seems only right if the fans long-standing hope of seeing Wolverine donning his yellow iconic suit come to pass. 

Deadpool is famous for breaking the fourth wall, but Wolverine has a rage so powerful that he could break reality along with him. Deadpool often steps out the story to make humorous sides. But the rivalry between Deadpool and Wolverine is a fight to promote in the Marvel cinematic universe. Therefore, seeing Wolverine reprising in deadpool 3 we anticipate that the rivalry will be juicy, thus Wolverine putting on the iconic suit bears a continuation of that story. 

Even though the production has come to a halt due to the looming SAG-AFTRA strikes, Deadpool 3 will land in cinemas on May 3,2024 ahead of the initial spot of November 8,2024. Jackman became a superhero because of his rage, donning the claws of Wolverine in the X-men movies. Jackman's portrayal of Wolverine remained constant up to 2017. He has featured in numerous movies as Wolverine including X-men origins, Logan, X-men, X-men first class and many more. 

Following Disney’s acquisition of 21st century fox, marvel studios now has the film rights to the X-men characters. And since Wolverine is returning, he has got the performance standpoint on MCU. The MCU has had great success with comics-accurate character portrayal, and the best way to differentiate the MCU wolverine from the last one is to stick closer with the comics with the casting. In the MCU, he might team up with other characters such as Spiderman, Hulk or Thor. 

Deadpool is the perfect platform to bring Jackman’s Wolverine back, because it will not affect anything from the 20th Century Fox X-men universe.  Even though production has come to a halt following the strike, the anticipation for the film is constantly gaining grounds. One thing to anticipate is the idea that we get to see Jackman in a comic-accurate suit.
