Omg 2 Business Day 4: Akshay Kumar And Pankaj Tripathi's Film Had A Higher Business On Monday Compared To The Opening Day, Earning Rs 55.1 Cr

The film OMG 2's collections are now 55.17 crore. The film had such a strong impact that it pulled huge numbers of people to the cinema halls even on its first Monday. The film crossed 55 crore within four days and its collection on the first day is 12.6 crore. despite being strong competition, OMG 2 has become the second film to have a better Monday than its opening after The Kerala Story.

This franchise has only enhanced its status in the eyes and hearts of moviegoers".

OMG2 fever has been picking up at the ticket counters. Amit Rai directed the film, released last week. Akshay Kumar plays the role of messenger of a God and it features Pankaj Tripathi as a denote of Lord Shiva named Kanti Sharan Mudgal and Yami Gautam plays a lawyer. The film is produced with a collaboration of Vipul D. Shah, Ashwin Varde, and Rajesh Bahl, and Cape of Good Films, presented by Viacom 18 Studios. The creative producer for this project is Dr. Chandraprakash Diwedi and the cinematography is beautifully handled by Amalendu Chaudhary.

The film is based on various issues of teenagers and the importance of sex education. The recent film is a spiritual sequel to OMG, it starred Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar and was released in 2012.
Before its release the film faced controversies over its religious theme, put on hold by the censor board, and suggested 27 changes were directed to the filmmakers but still managed to secure an 'Adults Only (A)' certificate from CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification). On August 11, the movie finally arrived in theatres after facing a delay and the same day, Sunny Deol's Gadar hit the screens.

Akshay's film has since been facing tough competition. But on the 4th day it won the race with flying colors and performed well by passing the crucial Monday test, the movie did a business of Rs. 11.50 cr on 14 August. OMG2's total collection is 55 cr and it is worth mentioning that it exceeds its opening day collection.
