However there may be some evidence that debunks theories about Marrok. In the credits for Ahsoka Episode 3 it is noted that Paul Darnell portrays Marrok. Interestingly there is a distinction between episodes 2 and 3 regarding Darnells involvement. While episode 2 credits him for performing stunts as Marrok episode 3 places him higher up in the credits alongside guest stars under the "Featuring" category. This suggests that Darnell not performed stunts but also provided Marroks voice. Since episode 3 does not significantly expand on Marrok’s role except for giving him dialogue it seems reasonable to assume that Darnell is taking on responsibilities.

Connecting the Dots

There has been speculation about the identity of Marrok with theories ranging from those closely tied to the show's storyline like Ezra Bridger to more outlandish predictions such as Galen Marek also known as Starkiller from the Star Wars Legends video game The Force Unleashed. It seems that this mystery will continue throughout Ahsoka's eight episode journey, possibly leading to a revelation towards the end. However a recent reveal in episode 3, about Ahsoka's cast might dampen some of the speculation.

If this holds true it could potentially disprove some of the prevailing theories surrounding Marroks identity.
The concept of him being Starkiller has received attention lately mainly because Sam Witwer, the actor who provided his voice in the games is also credited as a voice actor, in Ahsoka (unconfirmed role). Witwer is again mentioned for Ahsoka episode 3. The way Darnell is credited strongly indicates that he is not voicing Marrok.

Paul Darnell may not be a recognized name but it makes sense for him to play Marrok in Ahsoka especially since the character wears a mask. Darnell is an experienced stunt performer who has worked on notable projects, like Jurassic World and The Matrix Resurrections. In the Star Wars universe he served as the stunt double for Timothy Olyphant's Cobb Vanth in Season 2 of The Mandalorian. Portrayed an assassin in The Book of Boba Fett.

Are there still possibilities for Marrok theories to hold true in Ahsoka?

According to the theory there is a belief that a Jedi knight was influenced by Morgan Elsbeth, one of the Witches of Dathomir and turned towards the Dark Side, which is represented as a werewolf. Morgan is currently in search of Grand Admiral Thrawn.

In terms it implies that Ezra has become subservient to Morgan due to her abilitiesThis suggests that Ezra somehow managed to return but was captured by Morgan and corrupted unless he had already succumbed to the Dark Side before that

If this theory proves correct it would greatly clarify how she discovered where the Purrgil took Thrawn years ago

Of Course we shouldn't dismiss the possibility of this being intentionally misleading. However it's a theory that aligns well on levels

All if Marrok turns out to be a random character beneath the helmet or his true identity remains unknown fans will undoubtedly feel quite disappointed.
Could it be possible that Morgan has resurrected someone ? That might explain the deterioration of their armor at least
