Countdown starts! It’s time for Christmas Toy Drive!

During the holiday season, you can enjoy yourself with families and be loaded with meals and gifts. Many people will not be able to have a merry Christmas. Every child deserves Christmas. In America, there won't be presents on the tree this year. They will spend their Christmas feeling left out and forgotten. Christmas as a part of on-site programs, doorstep deliveries, and mailed Christmas care packs.

Toys for Tots!

Toy for Tot is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve that distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them. It partners with multiple organizations locally throughout Tennessee. 

  • In 2021, the local impact in Nashville campaign supported more than 21,000 children and distributed 47 505 toys. 
  • In 2021, the organization exceeded all previous records by giving more than 7500 children in need a merry Christmas.

Last Minute Toy Store!

Davidson County Sheriff's Office and Sheriff Daron Hall hosted the program at the DSCO Services Center. On December 1, Last Minute toy Store registration begins at 10 a.m.

On December 16 and December 19, shopping days for all registered families will take place.

 Cheatham County Wide Toy Drive!

In Cheatham County, a local CPA took the reins of a county-wide toy drive for the children in need in her community. Two Cheatham County Organizations for Valerie Kemp’s toy drive were:

  • Christmas Anonymous 
  • The ARK

On December 2 at the courthouse square, toys can be dropped off at our office anytime. More than 500 Cheatham County children are in need this year.

Tullahoma Fire Department Toy Drive!

  • On December 2, The Tullahoma Fire Department Toy Drive will hold its annual registration event from 9 – 11 a.m.
  • On December 3, The Tullahoma Fire Department Toy Drive will hold at C.D. Stamps Community Center.

Registration!

Children of Tullahoma to age 14 can qualify for registration. Parents bring their children with birth certificates and proof of residency to register their children. Parents will be asked for the last five digits of their Social Security number. 

On December 15, monetary donations will be accepted. Cash donations can be accepted anytime, but monetary donations will be accepted on December 1.

Hyundai of Cool Springs Toy Drive!

Hyundai of Cool Springs Toy Drive will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee. They have a small bus to fill toys donated to the BGCMT. Some recommended toys include soccer balls with cleats, Squishmallows, Magna tiles, slime kits, walkie-talkies, VTech Smartwatches, Shopkins, and Pokemon cards.

Franklin Firefighters!

This toy drive is hosted by the Franklin Fire Department, collecting donations for toys and clothing. It is to help Williamson County children in need each year. By this year, the 15th-year dive will benefit more than 300 children identified by the Boys & Girls of Middle Tennessee. 

On December 5, donations of new, unwrapped toys can be accepted at Franklin fire stations, Franklin City Hall and Macy’s Cool Springs Galleria.
