Following Thursday's COVID-19 diagnosis, President Biden's physician provides an update on his health

Symptoms Improved

President Joe Biden, 79, tested positive for Covid on Thursday, but his symptoms "have improved" and his vital indicators, including blood pressure, are still normal, according to his White House doctor on Friday.

Isolated

Since receiving his diagnosis, Biden has been isolated at the White House and has frequently stated on social media that he is "feeling okay" and carrying out his duties as president. Doctor Kevin O'Connor sent a memo to the White House press secretary saying, "His symptoms have improved."

Acetaminophen treatment

O'Connor stated that Biden's pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation "remain totally normal" despite the fact that he was still experiencing a runny nose, cough, and weariness.

Despite a little increase in fever on Thursday night to 99.4 degrees Fahrenheit (37.4 degrees Celsius), Biden was given acetaminophen treatment, and his temperature has since returned to normal, the doctor added.

Omicron BA.5
