Have you heard about your body structure while visiting your family doctor due to illness or being criticized by strangers? Certainly, maybe some of you are going through that phase or experienced it before due to eating junk foods or working without stretching.
Let me begin with a short story before diving into the benefits of drinking water.
A few years ago, a girl suffered from a few digestive problems. She used to spit up whatever she ate, especially while she sipped caffeinated drinks like tea or coffee in the morning.
Slowly, she got cured by taking certain homeopathic and ayurvedic medications. But still, she faces the issue of spitting up the drinks in the morning. So, she shifted her mind to sipping coffee instead of tea, and that too only in the morning.
But, still, she faced the same concerns. But now, she has come up with another strategy as she will initially drink water and then the remaining drinks.
Initially, it was difficult for her to stay consistent with the above habit. But now trying to follow that strictly.

So, folks, I am trying to say that water should be your initial booster in the morning, followed by your favorite hot or cold drinks. Now, let’s see some astonishing benefits of drinking water.
Reducing your BMI or weight
For a long time, drinking water has been thought to help with weight loss. 30–59% of United States adults who try to lose weight increase their water intake. Many studies show that drinking more water may benefit weight loss and maintenance.Add Block
Burning calories
Drinking water increases the number of calories you burn, which is known as resting energy expenditure. In adults, resting energy expenditure has increased by 24–30% within 10 minutes of drinking water.
Since water is naturally calorie-free, it is generally linked with reduced calorie intake. It is mainly because you then drink water instead of other beverages, which are often high in calories and sugar.
Reducing appetite
Some people claim that drinking water before a meal reduces appetite. There seems to be some truth behind this, but almost exclusively in middle-aged and older adults.
The right way to drink water
Many health authorities recommend drinking eight 8-oz glasses of water (about 2 liters).
However, this number is completely random. As with so many things, water requirements depend entirely on the individual. But here are general guidelines:
Liters: 1–2.
Ounces: 34–67.
Glasses (8-oz): 4–8.
Also, it is not recommended to drink too much water either, as it may cause water toxicity and has even caused death in extreme cases.
However, remember that you will have to do much more than drink water if you need to lose a significant amount of weight. Water is just one very small yet crucial hack to well-being.
