Just in time for Halloween, we're selecting the top 13 supernatural show programs from the previous 60 years. There is something for everyone, from the humorous to the spooky, from witches to vampires to zombies to aliens.

The Wizards of Waverly Palace

The parents of the Russo family, who own a sandwich business while raising their three children, appear to be typical working-class people. The children are wizards in training, a trait they acquired from their father. They will eventually engage in combat to choose which child will succeed their father as the Family Wizard, with the other two becoming mortals. In addition to the typical sibling rivalry, the parents must deal with the fact that their children are using actual magic, dating vampires and werewolves, and trying to keep their secrets from the outside world.

Penny Dreadful

Horror-filled characters from classic literature torment Victorian London by kidnapping, dismembering and resurrecting innocent people. A unique psychological thriller is produced by the combination of Dorian Gray, Victor Frankenstein and his Creature, Henry Jekyll, Count Dracula, and Abraham Van Helsing, to name just a few classic figures.

The Originals

The Mikaelson siblings, who have been vampires for millennia and are in fact "The Original" vampires, are the focus of this "The Vampire Diaries" spinoff. The eldest Klaus, a half-original vampire, and half-werewolf are fighting for control with Marcel Gerard, a vampire he sired and trained, as they attempt to retake New Orleans, the city they helped construct. While navigating the conflict between the city's numerous supernatural factions and coming to terms with their enigmatic background, the family must safeguard Klaus's miracle child.

Sleepy Hollow

To save his life, Ichabod Crane's witch wife sends him (head intact) back in time to the year 2013. He joins forces with Lt. Abigail Mills to combat the wicked powers that will bring about the End of Days as he gains experience living in the modern world. "Sleepy Hollow" is a superb fusion of fantasy and mystery with a touch of humor that weaves together folkloric tradition and Biblical prophecy.

Grim

Nick Burkhardt, a homicide detective, learns that he is a "Grimm," a guardian tasked with maintaining harmony between people and mysterious beings known as "Wesen." Nick battles supernatural figures based on Grimms' Fairy Tales because he can see the monsters who are disguising themselves as humans. He frequently gets assistance from a "Big Bad Wolf" turned informant.

Once upon a Time

In Storybrooke, Maine, where the Evil Queen has consigned the characters to live as mortals without knowledge of or recollection of their true existence, fairy tales come to life. The only person who can save them is Emma Swan, the sole child of Snow White and Prince Charming who was rescued before the curse began. Travels are made via mythical locations like Neverland and Camelot, and various characters from various stories make appearances.

The Munsters

The family at 1313 Mockingbird Lane is not your standard suburban family, even though they believe they are. Mom, Dad Herman is like a Frankenstein creature. Grandpa is a very old confused vampire, Lily is a vampire, their kid is half-vampire, half-werewolf, and Marilyn is a blue-eyed blonde who is the family outsider. Even as they travel down the street in their "Koach," which resembles a hearse, they just want to be an ordinary family and don't see why anyone would find them strange.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

In this gritty adaptation of the Archie Comics series, Sabrina Spellman is caught between her attempts to live a regular adolescent life and the embracing of her witch side. Sabrina navigates the world of witchcraft with the help of her witch aunts Hilda and Zelda and her warlock cousin Ambrose, while her human pals Harvey (a descendant of witch hunters) and Jaz (a seer) work to prevent her from straying too far into Satan's kingdom.

Warehouse 13

Warehouse 13 is home to Secret Service agents Pete Lattimer and Myka Bering, who are tasked with keeping track of seemingly innocuous items that, when imbued with magical energy, can become extremely hazardous. This is the 13th warehouse in history to contain these treasures, and each one has been located in a strong nation. Now it is up to Lattimer and Bering and their crew to track down these objects and destroy them before they can do any damage.

American science fiction television program Warehouse 13 was created by Jack Kenny and David Simkins for Universal Cable Productions, and it initially aired on the Syfy network from July 7, 2009, until May 19, 2014.

True Blood

Vampires and humans can coexist because of the development of synthetic blood, yet there are individuals on both sides who think that harmony between the two cultures can never be established. When telepath Sookie Stackhouse develops feelings for both the 1000-year-old vampire Eric and the 173-year-old vampire Bill Compton, she is drawn into the fight. The mystique surrounding Bon Temps, Louisiana, is also heightened by the presence of shapeshifters, werewolves, witches, and faeries.

Alan Ball is the creator and producer of the American fantasy horror drama television series True Blood. It is based on Charlaine Harris's book series The Southern Vampire Mysteries. Reboot is presently being created.

This supernatural show was created by HBO in collaboration with Ball's production business, Your Face Goes Here Entertainment, for the American premium cable network HBO.  The seven seasons and 80 episodes of the show had their premieres on September 7, 2008, and they were finished on August 24, 2014.  Highly favorable reviews, nominations, and victories for various prizes, including a Golden Globe and an Emmy, were given to the first five seasons.

Lucifer

He is THAT Lucifer, indeed. The angel of beauty and strength was expelled from Heaven. He decides to move to Los Angeles, where he owns a nightclub, and eventually becomes a consultant to the LAPD, working with Detective Chloe Decker because he gets bored after spending all of eternity in Hell. When battling celestial and demonic enemies, it is unquestionably advantageous to have the Devil himself on your side—even as he battles his urges to return to his rightful place.

The main antagonist of Season 5 of The CW television series Supernatural is Lucifer, also known as The Devil, The Light Bringer, The Morning Star, and Satan. He also serves as the overarching antagonist of Seasons 1 and 4, the main antagonist of Seasons 6, 7, 8, and 10, the secondary antagonist of Season 11, and one of the two main antagonists of Seasons 12 and 30, respectively.

The Addams Family

Their home resembles a museum, filled with oddities like a bed made of nails and an armor suit, as well as animals like lions and black widow spiders. Despite their morbid preferences, Gomez and Morticia are devoted parents to Wednesday, a weird but charming child, and Pugsley, a budding mad scientist. Additionally, they constantly welcome guests with open arms and look genuinely perplexed when those nice people feel the urge to flee when they encounter their enormous butler Lurch, their other devoted servant Thing, Uncle Fester igniting a bulb with his mouth, Grandmama brandishing knives, or Cousin It

Based on the characters created by Charles Addams, Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan's computer-animated supernatural show black comedy from 2019 is titled The Addams Family. Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Chloe Grace Moretz, Finn Wolfhard, Nick Kroll, Snoop Dogg, Bette Midler, and Allison Janney provide the voices for the movie.

United Artists Releasing launched the movie in theatres on October 11, 2019, in the US and Canada. The performances and animation were acclaimed, while the narrative and screenplay garnered mixed reviews from critics. The movie made $203 million on a $24 million budget.

Sabrina the Teenage Witch

In this humorous spinoff of the Archie Comics series, Sabrina Spellman discovers her magical abilities when she is 16 years old. With the assistance of her aunts Hilda and Zelda, as well as the black cat Salem, a witch turned into a cat since he attempted to take over the world, Sabrina learns to harness her magic. While Sabrina tries to act like a "regular" adolescent and get Harvey's attention, chaos ensues as the world of magic ruins her intentions.

The live-action television series is the subject of this article. See Sabrina the Teenage Witch for further television programs.

Based on the same-named Archie Comics character, Sabrina the Teenage Witch is an American television sitcom made by Nell Scovell. It features Melissa Joan Hart as American teen Sabrina Spellman, who discovers she has magical abilities on her 16th birthday (a departure from the Archie Comics series, in which she has known of her powers since an early age). Throughout the remainder of the series, she resides at 133 Collins Road in the made-up Boston suburb of Westbridge, Massachusetts with her 600-year-old aunts, witches Hilda (Caroline Rhea) and Zelda (Beth Broderick), and they're talking cat Salem.
