Top 10 Addictive tv shows that won't let you move your butt.

Breaking Bad is among the rare shows with an IMBBD rating of 9 or more. This is enough proof of the quality is presented in its five seasons. The series was so addictive right from the beginning, making you interested in all the little details and words the characters say. So, without any doubt, it will rule our hearts till something equally amazing comes our way.

From the time the show has ended, the fans are looking for shows to fill the void. Here is a list of shows that have the potential to fill the void you feel.

Fargo

The TV series Fargo is unique in its own sense. The show is set in the same universe as the original movie; its anthology style has helped the series in paving its own identity in a world full of crime dramas and neo-noirs.

Although it's advisable to watch the original film before you get to this TV series, it's not mandatory.

The creative force is in full swing as the series has only ten episodes. Its' storylines are so breathtaking that you'll get no respite. Fargo's grey, ruthless world is devoid of any clichéd good or bad guys as everyone has their own justified motives. It is undoubtedly not an easy watch, but trust us, it is worth your time.

ZeroZeroZero

This twisty and wacky tale combines Bad Blood, Narcos, and Gomorrah. The show is about a cocaine shipment showing the struggles of drug lords who want the shipment at any cost. One party is ready to go to any extent to have the shipment and the other to destroy it.

This is followed by eight episodes overflowing with the thriller, forcing you to be on your toes until credits appear. My only complaint with this amazing series is that most of its dialogues are in Spanish. So, I prefer watching it with subtitles.

Deadwood

Has it ever crossed your mind how life was during Wild West? If yes, this show is what all you need. The plot is set in the post-Civil War years depicting life in a lawless mining town. The town is known to attract gold diggers, whores, and outlaws – everyone who wants to make it big. They follow murky moral standards, to say the least, but that's an essential life skill to reside in a place where life has no value. In any given circumstances, you would've hated them all but not here because everyone is simply trying to survive.

You would love what Deadwood offers if you have the gut that can digest lots of nudity and profane material. If you don't get offended easily, then give it a try!

Sons of Anarchy

TV shows have their own highs and lows, considering the quality of the content they provide. Though it'll take an episode or so to get going, but once it starts, it feels like a roller coaster full of challenges, twists, and turns. There are some amazing seasons, and then there are seasons that you don't even wish to watch. Yet, Sons of Anarchy have found a secret formula to be consistent throughout the seven seasons.

Kurt Sutter is the creator of the series, which circles around an outlaw motorcycle club in California that deals in both legal and illegal businesses. The most challenging part of this series is waiting for the next episode because you are dying to know what will happen.

Homicide: Life on the Street

The show created by Paul Attanasio is a procedural cop show full of humor, suspense, and drama. As it has the least appealing cast on TV, its only savior was the script and performances of its cast.

The show is proof you don't need any sort of eye candy in your show to make it popular among the masses.

Weeds

We're not offering any plot summary here because it is a much better experience when you don't even have the slightest idea about the story. Still, one thing that can be revealed, and we can assure you of, is that it is thought-provoking at many different levels.

You'll feel things could've been better and different when characters make stupid decisions. Their decisions might annoy you, but you can't help falling for the story and the characters. While we see them dealing with their everyday life issues, Weeds leave it on us to judge their decisions. But, no matter what, you'll still root for the characters as you know you would've chosen the same path deep down.

The Shield

Following user reviews is not always a good option. It looks like when a handful of people criticize any show; the masses start following them blindly. The Shield is one such show which fell victim to the online mob.

Though the action is always on the go, the characters take some time to develop. During the course of its seven seasons, you'll have many questions – is there such a thin line between the good and the bad? How far can one go but still not leave the righteous way?

The Shield serves violence, corrupt cops, hot chics, drugs, and good detective work – ingredients for a perfect binge-watch show.

The Sopranos

The story revolves around a mobster named Tony Soprano, who has a good heart. James Gandolfini lives two lives – a family man and an old-school, ruthless mobster who knows how to do the business. He doesn't tolerate any betrayal but stands by his loyalists at any expense. There is no other show we are aware of where the audience rooted so much for an anti-hero.

At times, the show is slightly racist and sexist, but the written story doesn't let it go out of hand.

Boardwalk Empire

This show needs no introduction. However, we'll try to present a summary for anyone who hasn't heard of it before. The plot is set in the prohibition era in New Jersey. Amidst the looming alcohol business, the town faces violence and corruption. Most of the show is based on real events and some imaginary parts.

The story circles around Enoch Thompson, who is a politician in Atlantic City. He is friends with the cops and the mob, using both for his own benefit. In short, Boardwalk Empire has a serious tone with a dark, immersive, and unsettling storyline.

The Wire

You might consider it as a generic procedural cop show in its first look. But you'll have to watch a few episodes to know it is not. What makes it different from other shows is that it shows no great action sequences, fights, or chases; instead, it shows real struggles between the cops and the drug mafia.

Considering the slow nature of the Wire, you may want to give up but trust us; you shouldn't. The first few episodes are meant for character development and then start greed for power where everyone is trying to outsmart the other. We agree there is no fancy storyline, but it's gripping for sure.
