The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne has been sued by Nicolas Cage's ex-wife over claims she has spent settlement money owed to Tom Girardi by the actor.
As part of the suit, Nicolas Cage's ex-girlfriend is claiming up to $750,000 in damages, alleging that Erika Jayne wasted part of a settlement she should have received from Girardi & Keese on matters related to their relationship. As a result of her alleged involvement in the fraud and embezzlement case filed against Tom Girardi, Erika has been involved in legal proceedings.
Erika is guilty by association due to her long-term marriage to Tom and the fact that she sang the hit song "Pretty Mess" for 20 years. Erika continues to maintain her innocence, but despite that, lawyers have been able to gather evidence of millions of dollars that Tom's law firm is alleged to have sent to Erika's company, EJ Global.
Erika's legal team has been busy defending her name and finances since she was accused of participating in Tom's shady business practices. Erika's ex-husband was a powerhouse lawyer who fell from grace.

The Erin Brokovich-affiliated lawyer is accused of embezzling settlement funds from victims and failing to pay back money owed to business partners and lenders. As a result, Tom's assets were frozen, he was in bankruptcy, and he is under conservatorship because of his health issues.
The many people who seek their rightful money are suing Erika for the money they owe her. Erika may now have to repay some of Tom's millions to the claimants. The ex of a famous Hollywood actor has launched another lawsuit on top of the slew of lawsuits that Erika already faces.
The ex-girlfriend of Nicolas Cage, Christina Fulton, is suing Erika and several former Girardi & Keese attorneys for fraud and theft, Us Weekly reports. The settlement funds were misappropriated by Rom and two of his former colleagues, Fulton claims. She hired Girardi & Keese after being injured in a car accident in January 2016.
She claims she did not know "where her money went until now" after being awarded $924,300 in a dispute settlement. The lawsuit was filed by Fulton on July 15 against Erika. According to Fulton, she just learned at the beginning of the month that her settlement award had been "dissipated" and that her former legal representatives had "lied to her."

She also claims the settlement funds were diverted to Erika's company, EJ Global. Erika and Tom are being sued for $750,000 for using her settlement to pay for "their lavish lifestyle." Fulton alleges that Erika and Girardi & Keese misused her settlement. As a result of her estranged ex-husband, Erika is involved in a series of lawsuits.
Earlier this year, Erika filed for divorce from Tom, attempting to separate herself from his legal woes. Despite that, she hasn't been spared the lawsuits and scrutiny that she's had to face over the past year.
Critics continue to target the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star on and off the show. The season 11 reunion featured Andy Cohen grilling Erika on the allegations.
As a result of the lawsuits, allegations, and her questionable behavior throughout the season, she's likely to face more heat at the season 12 reunion. The ex-girlfriend of Nicolas Cage can now be added to Erika's list of enemies.
