There is a possibility fans might have to shell out a lot of money to see Lea Michele on the opening night of "Funny Girl" on Sept. 6. For example, tickets for the Sept. 5 performance featuring understudy Julie Benko are available for just $69. The reselling site SeatGeek currently has tickets for the performance ranging from $450 to $2,350.

A flurry of excitement accompanied the announcement last week that the "Glee" alum would be taking over Beanie Feldstein's role as Fanny Brice in the Broadway revival. It has been exclusively reported that Feldstein, 29, was fired from the production and abruptly resigned.

In a social media announcement, the “Booksmart” star announced that she would be leaving on July 31, just four months into a one-year contract.

In an email to her followers, she wrote that she made the extremely difficult decision to leave the show sooner than anticipated once the production took a different course.

Following that, the "Impeachment: American Crime Story" star informed fans via Instagram that she had been diagnosed with tonsillitis and would miss more shows.

In a cheeky video clip, she began, “Hey everybody, I'm just checking in,” proving she hasn't lost her sense of humor. “What have I missed? What's been happening?”?” She answered.

Then she added, "I truly cannot wait to finish my last two weeks ... and at a certain point, you just have to laugh. When it rains, it pours on your old friend Bean. "
