The heartbreaking plea of Charlotte Middleton and Kate Middleton mom guilt

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have recently spoken openly about their experience of 'mommy guilt' as the parents of three children; Princes George and Louis, as well as Princess Charlotte, who are the couple's children. I had the pleasure of speaking with the Duchess of Cambridge on the Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast this week. She not only made mention of 'mom guilt' in her interview, but also touched upon the heartbreaking words she sometimes hears from her kids, especially Princess Charlotte, that trigger her mom guilt. Kate agrees with the statement that she 'absolutely' feels guilty sometimes, and says that "Anyone who says that they don't feel guilt as a parent is obviously lying.". After introducing herself, Kate shared the sweet words that Princess Charlotte often says when she is unable to take her kids to school herself; “Mummy, how can you possibly not be bringing us to school?”. During her interview, the Duchess explained her feelings as follows: "It's a constant challenge; you hear it time and time from mums who are not necessarily working and are not being challenged to balance work life and family life." Kate added that she has also found that she frequently finds herself "questioning her decisions and judgements" on a regular basis, and that it has been that way for her ever since she became a mother.
